Last night I learned how to photograph the Milky Way. In a couple weeks I can work on my technique when I'm camping at Rock Island. And I shouldn't have as much light pollution.

These days Cub Scouts is taking up a lot of my spare time. Sorry I didn't have any time to set up any portrait sessions this Fall but maybe I'll have better luck in the Spring. In the meantime, I'm going to share some of my latest pictures. Last weekend my son & I accompanied a local Boy Scout Troop to a WWII Reenactment in Rockford, IL. It was a great experience.

My have these kids grown! The last time I photographed this family, the girl was just a baby and the boy I had to convince a statue was a giant's bracelet to get his interest.

The first time I did an outdoor portrait session was for this family. A couple weeks ago, I had a chance to do their family portraits yet again. I can't believe how much the wee ones have grown.

It was fun to break out the camera again for the annual portrait of this family. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery around my house this year.

As evidence by the pictures, this beautiful couple was married during a beautiful ceremony at an scenic location. Just that morning though, there was snow on the ground.

Fall is in the air & I'm itching to do some portrait sessions. You have to take advantage of this since I'm not doing portraits anymore for the most part. Even though I'm not doing portraits regularly, I will still do them for family, friends, & past clients. So if you are needing some portraits done, now is the time! I'm offering times in October.
