Lightweight, fast, and comfortable to shoot with, it’s a great companion for everyday photography, travel, and street photography. Being able to use familiar lenses also makes picking up film feel a little more natural.

Luckycolor C200!
This is not a repackaged or re-released film stock. Luckycolor 200 is a new, original color emulsion created in China by Lucky Film Company.

Luckycolor C200 is red-based, which makes reds pop in particular, but the overall look of this film is neutral. Average saturation, contrast, and grain, which puts it in the lineup with films like Kodak Gold and Fuji 200.

Limiting any positive bias toward new emulsions, we like this new film stock. It’s basic, sure, but new emulsions tend to be on the experimental side, and this is a nice break from that trend.

China Lucky Film Corporation is the largest manufacturer of film in Hebei, China. They’ve been around since 1958, producing consumer and industrial products related to film, printing, and recording.

The official USA release of Luckycolor is a new step for Lucky Film Corp., and we hope they continue to create new film stocks.

Lucky Film Company has released more than C200. Lucky SHD 100 & 400 are black and white films that were re-released in 2024.
