It’s been a little quiet over here.

I stepped away from social media for a couple months — especially during the holidays — and poured everything into my family, photographing my remaining sessions and finishing up galleries. Being a mom while running a business I care deeply about has me constantly chasing a balance I never quite nail, and somehow always feeling like I’m falling short somewhere. So at the end of 2025, I hit pause on the pressure and leaned all the way in at home, hoping it would clear my head and spark something new.

And it did.

I’m heading into this new year feeling inspired, motivated, and very excited (my squirrel brain has been BUSY). My in-home studio is officially in the works, I’ve got some really fun model call opportunities coming up, new print and album offerings, and I’m dusting off the film camera as we speak.

I’ll be sharing lots of work from the last couple months, too. Because as it turns out, good things still happen even when you log off for a bit.🤍

Here’s to a new year, a clearer head, and all the good stuff ahead 🤍

About Sara

Hi there! My name is Sara Cormier, the girl behind the camera here at Sara Elizabeth Photography. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Sullivan, Maine but available to travel all over New England! I’ve been photographing love stories and special memories for over 6 years now and every year I fall more and more in love with this job. I'm a hopeless romantic, which is why photographing weddings is my dream career and feel so incredibly blessed to be trusted to capture the most important day of your lives!

I married the love of my life back in 2017 and we have created an amazing little furry family together. Some fun facts about me: I am completely and utterly obsessed with my two corgis and three cats, I’m a firm believer that cat hair is the best clothing accessory, macaroni and cheese fuels my soul, I wear slippers on the car ride to every wedding (don’t worry, I change my shoes upon arrival), my clients make fun of me for using the word “perfect” waaaay too much, and most of all, I absolutely love my job.
