A few shots from our trip to Mt. Rainier last week. Beautiful scenery of the mountains, waterfalls, and the wildflowers in bloom. Has to be one of the most beautiful of our amazing National Parks.

Beautiful evening (and weekend) for an art show. I'm in Maitland, Florida for the 47th Annual Rotary Art Show on Lake Lily. Lots of very nice art of all kinds. If you're in the Orlando area, drop by. I'm in booth 113. Runs tonight through Sunday afternoon.

Hi all - been a while since I've posted anything. I've been doing some soul-searching lately and have decided to start wrapping things up regarding my participation in art shows. As such, I am doing one final show in Michigan - the Milford Memories show August 11-13. I will have many of my Michigan photos, as well as photos from Route 66, Florida wildlife, lots of waterfalls, lighthouses, florals, landscapes, etc from various places. So if you are in Southeast Michigan and have an interest in any of my work, please stop by the show. Mention you saw this post and I'll give you a good deal on any purchases. Hope to see you there! EDIT: just for clarification, I will be doing a few more shows in Florida, this fall and next spring (probably). The above-mentioned show is the only one I'll be doing in Michigan.🙂

If you have a bookmark to my old site, please type in the name again and recreate the bookmark since the URL has changed slightly. If you still get an error, try clearing your browser cache - that usually fixes things.

Also, here is a new photo I just added to my gallery, taken in Olympic National Park last fall.

Latest addition to my Florida Critters collection. Got a shot of this "little" fellow this past weekend at the Lake Apopka Wildlife Preserve in Florida. I call it "What Lurks Below...".

I recently saw the coolest thing! On Friday (4/23), I was on a beach along the Atlantic in Georgia doing a sunrise shoot around 5:45a.m. and I saw this in the sky. It was the Falcon 9 carrying the 4 astronauts to the ISS, just after launch. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to get the separation of the first stage, but I did get the second stage separation. Pleasant, unexpected surprise.

These are from a recent "self-assignment" to capture some unique perspectives of a popular place, I'm this case Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival. The goal was to spot some scenes, subjects, or angles that most people would overlook or not think of. Some are pretty unique (hence, met my goal), others are probably pretty ordinary.

Water. It can be a pretty boring subject. However, it can also be a real work of art. It can be calm and peaceful as a still pond, or as dynamic (and even violent) as an ocean wave or a waterfall.
