Happy Sunday everyone! We took a trip to the Upper Peninsula and although we underestimated the size of the first stop, the views from Pictured Rock and Presque Isle Park were something beautiful and amazing. We were not prepared for how massive Pictured Rock is. We ended up walking for 2 hours in the pitch black before reaching our car with a few people who equally were not expecting the size of this place. It made the aggressive walk more bearable as we swapped adventure stories with one another. Our legs and well, every other part of our body was on fire by the end but no adventure is without lesson. That's okay though because Presque Isle Park made up for it. It was a windy day with a small storm slowly rolling in. Leaves had fallen from the trees and it felt like a gloomy, fall morning. My soul was content as I heard the waves crash against the shores and the wind soaring between the trees. I remember so distinctly taking that first, deep breath. It was as if I've been waiting forever and a day to take it.
I miss it. I always do when I come back but that just means I'll have to plan another trip sooner rather than later. Experiencing nature's phenomena is great but they're always so much better with my best friend. It's been a while but I hope you all enjoy another collaboration by Panda and The Other Woman (Shay) 😊🖤
