It’s surreal seeing last year’s seniors getting so close to graduation 🥹👩‍🎓 & also seeing the senior lineup for this year come to fruition. It’s going to be a FUN year.

Where can you find half-baked pizzas and babes? I know a place 🍕🤭

Fun fact - did you know a Mabe’s “regular” pizza is said to induce labor? It worked for all three of my babies! 🤪 But until then, we’ll just let it help grow Baby K big & strong. Half-way to meeting your sweet little pepperoni, mama!

17 days with our sweet Callan. 💙💙💙

We’re not sleeping, but we don’t need to because we’re truly living the dream 🥹 everything has hit different this time. We are soaking in absolutely everything. The wakeups are reminders that we’re needed and loved. The lack of productivity is caused by working tirelessly to mentally imprint every tiny part of my sweet baby in my memory… the peeling little toes. The furry back. The lanky fingers wrapped around my finger & heart. We belly laugh at the blowouts (followed by a lecture from big brother that “we DON’T p**p on mom, baby Cal!” 🤭). And the quiet days close with LOUD evenings that feel comfortably familiar… Superman and Spiderman still roam my home locking up bad guys. Wrestling matches and muddy hands and boots.

We are counting our blessings and forever grateful for this life God has gifted us. Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out with well wishes as our family & hearts have grown!

We yet again had an amazing experience delivering Cal at in West Union. The birthing team & all of the staff have always treated us like family, and we are so grateful for the quality care we have access to in our small town communities.

As if life couldn’t be more exciting around here recently… dropped their Spring Issue, and one of my favorite images was featured! has been a constant source of inspiration for me from the start of my photography career, and the work they share always leaves me feeling like I’m catching a glimpse into real LIVES, captured with the intention to highlight the beauty of authenticity. I am so honored to see my work next to the work of so many amazing artists from around the world.

Important Update!

As a reminder, I will be OUT on leave beginning next week through the end of June, and returning to photography full time July 1st. I will be giving my email a break during this time, so if you have any immediate needs or questions be sure to reach out ASAP!

I had a massive influx of urgent session needs in January/February that needed prioritizing, so I am trying my best to get caught up on an overwhelming inbox before I am out starting next week -- so if you are still waiting on a response from me, there is a true potential that it may have been missed as I filter through them. Please do not hesitate to give me a nudge or send a follow up, especially if it is an urgent request/need! I deeply apologize for the delayed responses -- I NEVER want to leave someone completely unanswered, so know that if I have it is unintentional, and I truly appreciate you reaching out a second time!

My 2026 calendar for family session is currently FULL (minus November & December.) I may open up more spaces here & there throughout the year last minute if I find I am able to squeeze some in, but for the moment the calendar is full!

For my booked families/couples, you will receive an email from me the month prior to the month you pre-booked for to schedule your exact session date.

Let’s talk BUSINESS 💪

Everytime I have the opportunity to photograph a small business, I am humbled. As a small business owner myself, I know the level of passion and vision that comes with every step of creating and growing the brand that you want your business to be known for. It’s so much more than what you offer or physically bring to your space. It’s the community you foster. The way you make people FEEL. And everything you bring to your space flows back into your personal life on the deepest level. It’s raised with the same core values on which you raise your family. It’s the impact you make on those who connect with what you do. The message you send is the message your heart has been feeding your brain since the moment you mustered the courage to jump at the opportunity to build your vision.

And that’s the true definition of branding.

It’s authentically YOU. Your strengths and vulnerabilities. Your biggest wins and hardest losses, all of which have brought you to right here. Your people appreciate what you do, but they don’t connect with that. They connect with your story. Why are you here? Where are you going? And who do you want to join you?

I’ve found business branding to be the ultimate opportunity for storytelling, and it’s applicable to EVERY business. Strip away trends & “professional” headshots, and trust in what makes your business the unicorn that it is. Then photograph the hell out it, and share it with your people. 📸
