I’ve honestly been soaking up this slower pace today. 🤍

I slept in a little today, made myself a cup of coffee, and just sat there enjoying the quiet. No rushing. No checking my to-do list every five minutes.

As much as I love what I do, I think I needed this reminder that it’s okay to slow down every now and then. Sometimes the best days are the simple ones.

There’s something I wish every mom knew.

You don’t have to look perfect to step in the frame.

Almost every mother who walks into my studio apologizes for something. She’s tired. She hasn’t lost the baby weight. She doesn’t feel like herself yet. She’s running on very little sleep and wondering if she should skip the photos altogether.

And then I place her baby in her arms.

Suddenly, none of those things are what I see.

I see tiny fingers wrapped around yours. The way your baby settles the moment they’re close to you. The look on your face when you realize they’re finally here.

Years from now, your children won’t notice if your hair wasn’t perfect or if you felt exhausted that day. They’ll simply see their mother holding them with so much love.

Please don’t wait until you feel ready to exist in your photographs.

You already are.

Wondering when to book your Newborn session?

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your second or third trimester. Booking early allows me to reserve space around your due date so that once baby arrives, all you have to do is let me know they’re here and we’ll finalize your session date.

Newborn sessions are typically photographed within those first few weeks after baby arrives, which is why booking ahead is always recommended—especially since I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month.

If you’re currently expecting and planning to document this sweet season, I’d love to chat with you.
I’m currently booking newborn due dates now through November.

Did you know we also offer milestone sessions?

Everyone talks about newborn photos, but babies grow and change so much during that first year. Those gummy smiles, chubby thighs, curious expressions, and proud sitting poses deserve to be remembered too.

Milestone sessions are designed to capture your little one’s personality as they grow, creating beautiful memories you’ll treasure long after the baby stage is gone. 🩷

I typically recommend milestone sessions around 3, 6, and 12 months, but there’s never a bad time to document your baby’s journey.
