I just love it when my wedding clients call me with news of their new baby! I was so excited when L + A contacted me for a newborn session. Meeting their new baby girl was so sweet. They are such great parents and I am so happy for them. Praise God for his good gifts.

Part II of The Bacons.

The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Rose Garden in Ault Park. We met there for pre ceremony photos and for set up. It started out as a beautiful warm and sunny day, however, that quickly changed and it began to downpour 20 minutes before the ceremony. Ahhh! Honestly, I think most of us laughed it off because what else can you do? And of course in true Midwestern fashion- it was back to warm and sunny 10 minutes later. They had a beautiful golden hour ceremony surrounded by the people they love most.

After the ceremony we took a few more portraits and then we all headed to Carlo & Johnny for dinner and drinks. It was truly such a memorable day full of love and joy. I’m so thankful to have been a part of it.

Mr. & Mrs. Bacon ♡

Here is part one of this beautiful day celebrating Joe and Katie. Katie wanted to visit with her grandmother on her wedding day which was the most sweetest way to start the day. Her grandmother was unfortunately unable to attend so being able to spend time with her meant a lot to Katie. Tears of both joy and sadness were shed.

After that we headed over to Anjou Cocktail Bar to meet up with the bridal party and get the party started. It’s such a pretty place and the neighborhood is super cute.
