Junior Cattle Pusher: For riders 10 and under

The goal is simple: follow and track the cow around the arena for one minute.

No fancy maneuvers.
No pressure.
Just kids, horses, cattle, and fun.

$25 entry fee
Ages 10 and under
Last class on Sunday

If you've got a young rider who wants to try working cattle, this is the perfect opportunity to get them in the pen and build confidence.

The rodeo is an opportunity to celebrate Western Heritage in a family-friendly environment.

📣 2026 ARCHA Club Class Pricing 📣

We want to keep cow horse affordable, approachable, and fun while still building jackpots worth riding for.

2026 Club Class pricing will be:

* Dry Work Classes (No Cow) — $50 per class
* Cow Work Classes — $100 per class
These are all jackpot classes, meaning:

* 50% of entry fees go back into jackpot payouts
* 50% goes back to the club to help support cattle, awards, arenas, judges, and future events
Examples of dry work classes include:
* Ranch Riding
* Ranch Reining
* Simon Says
* Reining
* Ranch Trail
* Flag

Examples of cow work classes include:
* Boxing Only
* Ranch Cutting
* Box Drive

These are still our “show up and ride” classes.
Any horse.
Any tack.
Any attire.

We are only able to keep prices at this level because of our incredible cattle sponsors:

* Horsman Performance Horses

Their support helps make affordable cow horse opportunities possible in Alaska.

Monday Evenings • 6:30- 8:30 PM this Monday due to roping but all other nights we will try to have it 6-8pm

Drive past the driveway and continue up the road around the corner. Please use the barn and arena drive.

A great opportunity for youth to build fundamentals, confidence, timing, and year-round rodeo skills. Adults willing to help are more than welcome!

🐴 Ranch Class Highlight 🐴

Looking for something low pressure. These are some of our favorite classes to get started

🐴 Ranch Riding
Show off your horse’s movement, control, and willingness through a ranch riding pattern. This is about having a broke, usable horse that you would actually want to ride outside.

🎯 Ranch Reining
Patterns that focus on control and feel with no lead changes required. A great way to try reining without feeling overwhelmed.

🐄 Ranch Cutting
Pick two cows out of the herd and work them. Let your horse think and do its job

This one is always a favorite.
