PBL Panthers vs Milford Bearcats 🏐 9/8/26

I think I’ve finally found my grove with volleyball and the settings that work for my camera, I am so much happier with these than when I walked out of the gym two weeks ago!

I also tried out my new 16mm lens for some wide angle views of the court 🤩

Surprise! A small drop of new football and volleyball pictures 🤩

I overshoot everything I attend because each time I pick up my camera, it’s a learning experience. I can leave a volleyball game with 1000+ pictures or a football Saturday with 3000+ pictures to look at. That doesn’t mean I have thousands of usable pictures though. My focal point may have been off, the ref ran in front of me, the player got too close for the lens I use…

I only purchased my camera at the end of April so I am still extremely new to all that comes with it - the settings, the lens you need (or want) based on what you are shooting, the editing and finding your own style, best POVs based on the sport, dodging coaches/refs/players and so on. As I learn more, I relook at what I’ve taken because editing can save a picture I previously thought was lost and here we are, with more pictures to look at!

I am always looking for something to challenge me and this is such a beast but I’m all in! For football I even said I’d learn the play calls so I can position myself in anticipation of what should be coming so I don’t miss the action 😎

PBL Youth Football & Cheer - Week 4 vs Central Stars

Growing up I could think of a million other things I would rather do before watching football - and now, I can think of a million things I would put off just to watch it. Youth, high school, college, professional…I love it all. The emotion, the intensity, the passion, the fight, the sweat and even the tears. There’s nothing quite like it and I have one of the greatest views. Saturday’s with these kids and coaches is easily the highlight of my week 🥹
