When I was younger I worked at an amazing family owned jewelry store. I would try on all the beautiful jewelry and engagement rings dreaming about the one I would one day receive. It was so much fun!! Now something I love is photographing my brides beautiful rings and seeing how different and unique they all are. This one happens to be from the jewelry store I worked at!!! I know that marriage symbolizes something different to everyone but I feel like for the most part we can all agree that when we say “I do” we are also saying “we are now in this together”. I have been missing work, my clients, interactions with families and soon to be brides and grooms and it made me realize that we are also “all in this together”. As a world! My hope is that when the clouds lift that we will never forget that in some crazy way the world was just trying to get us all to say “I do” to each other. 💗🌏

A lot of times I will hear people complain about how our world is full of hate and anger but I think we forget to look at all the good surrounding us every single day. It’s awesome that Luca has brought so many people together out of love, hope, and determination. We all struggle, we all feel pain but if we look hard enough there is a lot a beauty surrounding struggle. Luca is the epitome of what it means to put one foot in front of the other and it’s amazing what we can learn from him. I always say to look at children if you want to learn some of your biggest lessons. Luca has taught me so very much! Yesterday was his 3 year anniversary for his lung transplant and he has hit milestones no one thought was possible. Miracles? Maybe.... but I think he has a fight in him like no other. You are a real live super hero kid and I’m blessed to know you and your amazing family!!!!

Maybe I’m crazy but when I’m around these old historical buildings I like to imagine a family sitting at a table by a big fire, eating home cooked bread and a big bowl of stew. (Of corse with all vegetables they grew over the summer and stored away). I’m just that nostalgic kind of person. Never lose your childlike imagination! Do you imagine anything fun with your childlike imagination????
