It’s disheartening when you spent 10 years practicing your craft, storm chasing AND the photography of it just for people to call it AI slop nowadays. That will only get worse with time unfortunately. This is real life folks, nature is incredible and I hope you get the privilege to experience it if you haven’t already.

Here’s another image of the same storm near Sidney, Nebraska two days ago on June 7th, 2026. Sad to see so many comments thinking my hard work is “AI slop”. If there is one thing I can guarantee you, all the work I post to this page is REAL storm photography and authentic. It’s good to stay critical though, nowadays. But I hope I can build trust with my audience going forward.

The storm by Sidney, Nebraska yesterday was absolutely mind blowing. The colors, the TEXTURES, and the lightning! Are you kidding me? June is peak storm photography, I have been craving it so bad after such an awful month of May.
