Upon revisiting my old photos today, I stumbled upon a particular shot that I initially deemed unworthy of editing. However, to my surprise, after giving it a chance, this image turned out to be one of the most remarkable transformations I have achieved in recent edits. Captured with my A7III and the versatile Sony 24-240mm lens, the image features the mesmerizing presence of a hippo in its habitat.

The haze in the original photo was a result of shooting through the foggy glass of the hippo's enclosure at the zoo. This experience has taught me the value of revisiting old photos, as we may discover hidden gems that we overlooked previously. This is precisely why I choose to shoot all my photographs in RAW format, allowing for greater flexibility and potential for post-processing enhancement.
