There numerous benefits of using a thermal drone to recover your trophy. It can be heart wrenching to move on after not being able to recover a deer. Many times you can search for days and not find the animal, only to find your bucks skeleton on a spring mushroom hunt. Unfortunately it happens to anyone who has hunted for any amount of time. Although we hope to find the deer expired, one thing that can help with the disappointment and Monday morning quarterbacking yourself, is to know for sure the deer is ok. With a drone this can be accomplished without stopping through your entire hunting grounds blowing out every deer that calls it home. This case was just that. With the drone we were able to see where the deer was hit, and the status of his health. This deer was eating and drinking and pursuing the ladies again 29 hours after the shot. This brings closure for the hunter and renewed excitement about possibly seeing the majestic animal again.
