The most beautiful day with Lauren & Ethan!

I remember when these two started dating and my goodness, to be able to celebrate with them on this special day was the biggest honor. Not even Hurricane Isaias could stop these two from becoming man and wife.

48 hours before the wedding day, their dream venue closed down due to the incoming gulf coast hurricane. Ceremony, reception, catering, and lodging site suddenly needed to be found asap.

These two, their families, and Wedding Planner FL + GA stepped into action and showed us what grit and flexibility in the midst of chaos looks like.

What resulted was the most precious day, in a gorgeous venue, right in the middle of downtown Tallahassee. When we wandered outside for couples / family photos in a nearby park, Lauren said “these trees are exactly what I wanted.” Truly no better words to hear from a bride on wedding day.

God is good and what a pleasure it was to spend the day with my sweet friends and their incredible families.

Capturing branding photos for businesses I love and use myself is one of my fave things as a business owner.

Johanna and I have been friends and hiring each other for almost 6 years! Off all places, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri is what brought us together. We both were not big fans (hah!) and our shared countdown til we could leave definitely solidified our bond 🤣

Now here we are 6 years later… she moved to my hometown (I always told her how awesome it was and now she’s here!!) ANDDD her business just got selected as Best of the Coast for dog training. Okayyyyyyyy 🔥🔥🔥

I frequently have people tell me “wow your dogs are really good dogs, what did you do.” My answer: Johanna.

For my Pensacola and FL panhandle friends, if you are in need of dog trainer or boarding (or even the occasional daycare), look no further than K9-Kent. Johanna is truly the best of the best.

West Point Firstie parents — I’m opening a very limited number of Firstie portrait sessions this fall!

I have two Firstie session dates open – the evening of October 22 and the morning of October 23.

I’ll be officially relocating to West Point with my fam next year, so I’m excited to start connecting with West Point families now and will be offering more portrait sessions in the area once I’m local.
