Y’all- Wednesday weddings are AWESOME. Abbi and Derek gathered together with their closet family to get married and celebrate - their way. It was beautiful, private and intentional. Their dogs even signed the marriage certificate!

They had the woods, mountain views and some of the best steak I’ve ever had. How’s that for amenities?

If this is what Wednesday weddings are like, sign me up for all of them!

Gwynnie and Tom’s wedding morning looked like a big group of friends hanging out in a giant Airbnb - because that’s exactly what it was!

Both sides of the wedding party, together, just having fun. No artificial separation. No “you can’t see each other yet.” Just people who love each other, spending the day like it.

They still had a first look after they got dressed- and it was still emotional and beautiful. They were able to spend time together before that and still have meaningful moments.

Moments worth remembering. That’s what happens when you plan a day that’s actually yours. Not the version you’ve been told you need, but the one that actually sounds like you.

Spend time with the people you love. Celebrate this next stage of your life. That’s really all there is to it. The rest is all a bonus!

Nikolai and Emmeline had their first look on a quiet street in downtown Boulder, just steps from Rembrandt Yard. That moment always gets me - the noise of the day settles for a second and suddenly it’s just the two of them. No one else around. Just two people who chose each other, seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day.

Then we walked back into and the whole energy shifted. Their people were waiting and absolutely lost it. That kind of hype is something you can’t manufacture - it just means everyone in that room genuinely loves you!!
