Those words have stayed with me since I first watched Rocky.
Growing up, Rocky wasn't just a boxing movie. It became a lesson in resilience. A reminder that setbacks are part of the journey, whether it's in cricket, fitness, work, photography, or life itself.
There have been wins worth celebrating and moments that tested me. Through every challenge, I've found myself coming back to this quote. Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep moving forward.
Today, standing in front of the Rocky statue wasn't about recreating a movie scene. It was about paying tribute to a character whose mindset has quietly shaped the way I live my life.
Because in the end, the greatest fight isn't against an opponent. It's against the person you were yesterday.

"It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward."

That line has stayed with me long before I stood here.

For every setback, every challenge, every small victory that nobody sees, Rocky reminds us that resilience is a choice. Standing in front of this statue wasn't about recreating a movie scene. It was about paying tribute to a mindset that has inspired millions, including me.

Philadelphia, this one was for the fan boy in me. 🥊

A day where two families became one, traditions found new meaning, and every smile carried a story. ❤️
Here's to my little brother and my new sister-in-law. May your journey together be filled with laughter, strength, and countless beautiful chapters. 🤍

Some days, I'm behind the camera.
Other days, my brother convinces me to step in front of it.
Photography has always been more than taking pictures for me. It's about slowing down, observing the little details, and finding stories in ordinary moments.
Grateful to have someone who can turn the lens around every now and then.

Three brothers. One camera. Hundreds of memories.

The mural was just the backdrop.

The real picture was spending time together on the other side of the world, exploring new streets, sharing stories, and creating memories that will probably be laughed about for years to come.

Different city. Same curiosity.

What makes a place feel like home?

For me, it isn't walls, a postcode, or a spot on a map.

It's the people who shape our lives, the hands that guide us, and the communities that bring us together.

These two images were entered in the Home category of the Your Best Shot competition.

One captures the anticipation of a growing family, a reminder that home often begins long before a child takes their first steps.

The other reflects a community gathering beneath light, art, and story on Arrernte Country, where people came together to share a moment bigger than themselves.

Different scenes. Different stories.

Yet both remind me that home is ultimately about connection.

It's where we are seen, supported, and surrounded by people who help us become who we are.

Three images. Three moments of stillness.

A lone figure standing at the edge of a world hidden by fog.

A weathered tree holding its ground beneath a stormy Central Australian sky.

The remnants of a forgotten jetty disappearing into silence.

Minimalism isn't about having less in the frame. It's about removing the noise until only the feeling remains.

These images were created years apart and in different corners of the country, yet they all seemed to be asking the same question:

What remains when everything unnecessary fades away?

Proud to have entered these photographs into the Minimalism category of the Your Best Shot competition.

Scotland never really needed dramatic sunsets to impress me.

Sometimes it was a winding road disappearing into the Highlands. Sometimes it was a lone house sitting quietly beside a loch, surrounded by nothing but hills, water and silence.

Driving through places like this reminded me how small we really are in the grand scheme of things. No crowds, no rush, no notifications. Just landscapes that have existed long before us and will continue long after we're gone.

One of my favourite moments from the Scottish Highlands. A place where the journey was just as memorable as the destination.

Isle of Mull, Scotland
