During Orla's session, I was telling her parents how much I love to do shoots that were purchased as a gift certificate. I like to imagine has gratified the gift giver will be when they see the images - knowing that they made it possible for someone they love to have such cherished keepsakes. If you're not sure which way to go the next time a loved one is celebrating a big milestone, definitely consider a gift certificate for a photo shoot. I love a good gift card for Marshall's just as much as the next gal, but just imagine knowing that you gave Orla's mom and dad these images of their beautiful new baby girl.

I was disappointed when my favorite little model couldn't make it when I did the Fishing with Santa mini sessions the first time, so I made a personal call to Santa the next time she was at the lake, and I am so glad I did. Andie was very skeptical of the big guy, but we took our time and made it work. I love sessions when a child's personality really shines through.

Christmas Minis with Santa and Clementine (the VW Bus) will be happening on Saturday, October 24 from 10:00-4:00 at Borski Park in Bridesburg. Each session will last 15 minutes and include photos taken with and without Santa. The cost of $75 per session will cover the bus rental, Santa's fee, and the fee for my photography services. Each client who books will receive between 10-20 edited full resolution images ready for downloading, printing and sharing. Signups will go live on September 1. One lucky person who follows Stacy Schwab Photography on IG or Facebook, shares this post on their story, and tags at least one friend will win a free session with their choice of time before the signups go live. We went horseback riding today. Rylee was our trail guide. After years of being promised a horse of her own and never having the promise fulfilled, she found Rocket on a Facebook group she belonged to. She did not let the fact that she is only 16 years old stop her from making the dream come true. It only took a couple hours of interaction for Rylee to know that Rocket was meant to be "HERS". After three generations of being with horses, this sweet young lady has a horse of her own, and she did it all by herself. I am so grateful for the opportunity to travel and meet new people. There is always an amazing story to be learned.
