8/24/2011 - 🎬 🎥 My first day as a television intern and the day I consider to have been my first official day in the media industry. I cannot believe that was 15 years ago today, but here we are. From starting out as an intern at a TV station, to freelance video editing, to founding Christina Flaaen Media, LLC and expanding more into the wedding/event space, it has been quite the journey. Editor, Videographer/Camera Operator, Photographer, Production Assistant, Grip, Boom Operator, Transcriber, Producer, Voiceover Talent, On-Camera Host, Scriptwriter, Business Owner, Cat Mom. (Okay, that last one is not technically media-related, but my 3 kitties were some of my biggest supporters along the way! 😻)
It has not always been an easy time, and challenges and doubters have often gotten the best of me. Still, I am so very grateful for everyone who HAS believed in me, "the quiet girl," throughout the years and given me opportunities to expand.
Thank YOU for supporting my business and me. ☺️ What will the next 15 years bring? Let's find out...

(📺 P.S. Here's a screenshot from one of the first programs/videos that I ever produced/edited/hosted. To this day, this piece on the Burton Barr Central Library is still one of my proudest accomplishments. Fun fact: One of the videographers on the current CFM team, Matt, actually filmed this for me back in Nov. 2011 when we were both at the aforementioned TV station.)
