TallulahMade

TallulahMade TallulahMade specializes in conceptual, wedding, event, and creative portrait photography. Tallulah Photography is my biggest creative outlet. Common Q & A

1.

My work focuses on producing editorial quality creative images that are unique yet professional. It has been the single most liberating thing I have ever done with my life. It had brought me joy, travel, friendship, and opportunities beyond my wildest dreams. I feel very blessed to have discovered my gift for photography and to have followed through with that gift. What is your name? No really, wh

at is your name? My baptised name is Tiffany Chase. I go by Tiff

2. How did you get into photography? About seven years ago, I was on military leave from my deployment (I was in Iraq for almost 15 months, deployed with the military), and I took my son to the beach to take pictures of him. It was just a disposable black and white camera. But, when I saw the pictures I was able to produce, I knew this was something special. Back track to when I was about nine years old, I was a camper at Camp Hazelwood USA and begged my Grandmummy to send me with my personal camera. Back in the old days, cameras were far bigger and there were these things called "rolls of film." In response to my constant pleas, she got me a little 5-inch camera. I remember using up ever bit of film in the first three days of being there. I wanted to capture everything. I didn't care about being in pictures (and still do not to this day). But, I love love love capturing moments in time.

3. What did you do prior to doing photography? I have done just about everything. I used to work as an insurance agent for Allstate Insurance company. I was a server at numerous restaurants in my younger years. I worked as a paralegal. I am a Veteran! I served in the Army enlisted as as an Officer. That is one of greatest single accomplishments other than giving birth. I used to make homemade soaps for friends and family. I collected (and still do) antiques and sell off the ones I can part with. I have lived in over 16 states in my short little life. I am an award winning writer. My writing and pictures have been published. I am a workaholic. And, I am the Queen of Customer Service.

4. Why choose Tallulah? I will work my tail off for you. I will work to give you those dream photos. I am that creative photographer you have wanted forever. I am very easy to work with and I LOVE my clients. No really, I still talk to quite a few of them because I make those connections with all of my clients. I am always trying to make my work better and my prices match my work. I'm not one of those photographers who bought a great camera and started shooting with equipment I don't understand. I have taken the time, started at the bottom, and worked my way to the top. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm still learning as a photographer, because you never really stop learning. I learn not only from other photographers, but from my clients; by listening to their needs and growing from their critiques. I am a real and honest person.

5. What type of photographer do you shoot? I shoot anything. I shoot food, portraits, weddings, bo***ir, travel. In fact, go check out my travel blog when get a chance. My specialty and niche market, however, are weddings. I LOVE weddings and I LOVE brides. I love the high paced environment. I like working through huge changes and I adjust very quickly.

6. I want to learn more about you, your work, and/or photography. How do I contact you? One of things I wish I had was a mentor. Eight years and counting I have not found a personal mentor. But, I have found photographers that have shared their work and techniques that help me every.single.day. One of those photographers are Jasmine Star. SHE.IS.AMAZING. She is an award-winning photographer based out of California and has helped me gain the confidence to be a better photographer. Go to her site if you are an aspiring photographer. She has many tools and tricks of the trade and all are worth your time and/or money. Her tools are very inexpensive for the knowledge she gives you. You are more than welcome to contact me for ANY questions. For those I do not know, I am more than happy to answer. As far as mentoring, I would love to mentor you. Your learning is my learning. Lets grow together. I am always looking for a second shooter. Questions or concerns, just send me a note at [email protected]. I read and respond to all of my emails.

ISSUE 0004 IS COMING ☀️

SOL INVICTUS
Offerings Beneath the Late Summer Sun

Bruja returns this August with Archive 0004.

This issue feels particularly important.

Sol Invictus is an offering to that strange threshold between abundance and release, when summer is still blazing overhead, but the first signs of another season have already begun to appear.

It is about harvest. Gratitude. Nourishment. Creative abundance. The things we have grown, the things we have survived, and what we choose to place upon the altar after the work is done.

Because harvest is not simply about what we receive.

It is also about recognizing what it took to grow it.

Issue 0004 celebrates the body, creativity, community, beauty, ancestral memory and the sacred act of making something from what we have been given.

And perhaps most importantly, it asks:

What has ripened in you?
What are you finally ready to gather?
And what will you offer in return?

👑 Every kingdom has its ruler.

Meet this tiny monarch, who graciously agreed to pose for a royal portrait... in exchange for absolutely nothing, because cats do what they want.

One of my favorite things about photography is finding beauty and personality in the unexpected. Whether it's a bride on her wedding day, a family celebrating a milestone, or a cat wearing a crown in the middle of the woods, every subject has a story worth telling.

After all, everyone deserves to feel like royalty once in a while.

The desert has a way of reminding you how small you are and how endless possibility can feel.

As artists, we're constantly chasing light. Sometimes that means hiking a mountain before sunrise. Sometimes it means waiting patiently for the last few minutes before the sun slips below the horizon.

Those are the moments I live for.

Photography isn't just about documenting what we see. It's about capturing what we feel.

If you've ever dreamed of creating something adventurous, artistic, and completely you, let's make it happen.

Did you know this colorful mural celebrates the heart of Downtown Mesa?

The mural reads "Downtown Mesa , Established 1878," honoring the year Mesa was founded by Mormon pioneers in the Salt River Valley. Today, Downtown Mesa has become one of Arizona's most vibrant arts districts, filled with public murals, galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and historic architecture. This mural, created by Phoenix artist Lauren Lee, has become one of the city's most photographed landmarks. I frequently shoot in Pheonix (metro area), as it is literally a second home.

It's one of my favorite places to create because art deserves to live among art. Sometimes the perfect backdrop isn't a mountain or a sunset. Sometimes it's a wall filled with color, history, and character that becomes part of your story.

One of my favorite places to photograph in New York City is The Met Cloisters.

Tucked away in Fort Tryon Park overlooking the Hudson River, it feels worlds away from the rush of Manhattan. Inspired by medieval European monasteries, its stone archways, peaceful gardens, and centuries-old architecture create the perfect setting for portraits that feel timeless.

Every corner invites you to slow down. The light filters through the arches, the stone walls tell stories of another era, and for a moment, you forget you're in New York City at all.

Some locations don't just become a backdrop.

They become part of the story.

✨ Fantasy Friday has arrived! ✨

It's the day I get to share a different side of my work.

Pictured here is the beautiful Tamara Cosplay. This fantasy shoot was organized by my dear friend Dara Dagon, one of my greatest creative muses and motivators.

When I'm not photographing weddings, families, or portraits, you'll usually find me creating fantasy imagery. This is the work that keeps my imagination alive. It challenges me to experiment with lighting, sharpen my technical skills, and constantly see the world a little differently.

And honestly... there's nothing better than spending the day with a group of adults wearing fairy ears, flowing costumes, and fully embracing their imagination.

Somewhere along the way, we convinced ourselves that growing up meant leaving make-believe behind. But I think the opposite is true. As children, we couldn't wait to become adults because we thought we'd finally get to do whatever we wanted.

So why stop playing?

Fantasy reminds us that wonder isn't something we outgrow. It's something we choose to hold onto.

If you've never stepped into a pair of fairy wings or brought your imagination to life, I highly recommend it. You might just reconnect with a part of yourself you forgot was still there.

I book fantasy session year round! Holler at me if love to play dress-up and want to be photographed.

Before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, I had never heard of Scorpion Gulch. I certainly didn't know it would become one of the city's most popular locations for portraits. On any given evening, you'll find engagement sessions, quinceañeras, graduation portraits, and family photos all unfolding within just a few feet of one another.

What makes the location even more fascinating is its history. Scorpion Gulch was originally built in 1936 by William Lunsford as a home and trading post where visitors could purchase Native-made crafts, jewelry, candy, and sodas before heading into South Mountain. Today, its stone ruins remain one of Phoenix's most photographed landmarks.

Stephanie and Ariel were my very first couple's session in the Valley of the Sun. They were incredibly patient as we worked through the lingering 90-degree heat, chasing the last light before sunset.

Then something unexpected happened.

As the sky faded into twilight, Scorpion Gulch transformed. Lowriders and sport compacts rolled over the speed bumps. Corridos blared from trucks. Families unfolded lawn chairs, couples gathered to watch the mountains disappear into the night, and unsuspecting vendors opened their trunks to sell drinks and homemade Mexican food.

It stopped feeling like a photoshoot location.

It became a community.

An evening ritual.

An outdoor desert communion where strangers shared stories beneath the Arizona sky.

Love is a crazy house.

One day you're single, and the next, you've found someone who changes the shape of your world. Suddenly, everything begins to shift around your love.

As you look into each other's eyes, the world around you starts to blur. Priorities change. Dreams evolve. Two separate lives slowly become one shared story.

Love was never meant to remain the same. In its healthiest form, it is always growing, always stretching, always adapting. It bends without breaking. It transforms us while reminding us of who we truly are.

That is why I love creating images like this. Sometimes the world should feel distorted, because when you're completely in love, the only thing that truly comes into focus is the person standing in front of you.

For just a few seconds, it's only the two of you... and your photographer quietly reminding you to look into each other's eyes, breathe, and remember why you're here after months, sometimes years, of planning one of the biggest days of your lives.

That is where the magic lives.

What many people don't realize is that a photograph isn't finished the moment I press the shutter. It comes alive later, when I sit down to edit. I get to relive those fleeting moments, shape the light, preserve the emotion, and create images that allow you to experience your wedding day long after it has passed.

When choosing a photographer, I don't believe the decision should be based solely on price.

It should be based on connection.

Long after the flowers have faded, the cake has been eaten, the music has stopped, and the dress is carefully tucked away, your photographs become the one thing that grows more valuable with time.

As photographers, we have the incredible privilege of preserving life's most meaningful milestones. Whether it's your engagement, wedding, maternity session, or the quiet beauty of your family growing together, our responsibility is more than taking pictures.

It is helping you remember how it felt.

That is the magic I hope to create every time someone steps in front of my camera.
