As many of you know, I’m obsessed with workflow, so I built a tool I think you’ll love that automates and creates my captions for me 🤖📸 with Agentic AI and works alongside Adobe Lightroom.
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Lightroom Mobile ingests images remotely.
2️⃣ Frames are waiting in the media center during breaks in play.
3️⃣ I pick my selects, edit, and save to a local folder.
4️⃣ A custom Python script continuously scans for new images.
5️⃣ The script syncs EXIF timestamps with the leagues APIs to pull play-by-play data, rosters, and jersey numbers.
6️⃣ It generates the caption and writes IPTC data straight into XMP files.

All I have to do is make sure my camera clock matches the game clock when I arrive and give each photo a quick check before I FTP.
I tested this at an MLB game and put it into production for Mercury vs. Dream. It worked like a dream. I was able to push out double my usual frame count in a fraction of the time without typing captions manually and well ahead of deadline. 🤯
PS: Cost per call is less than 2 cents per photo. So $1/game.
