I took a long pause from photography (life and chronic illness kinda forced it 😅), but I’m finally back behind the camera creating, documenting, and celebrating life again, and honestly, it feels so damn good.

I didn’t realize how much I’d missed this…being part of people’s big moments, capturing the chaos and the quiet, the laughter and the nerves, those “I can’t believe this is happening” moments. Sessions like this one with Gabriella & Brad remind me exactly why I love what I do.

One of my favorite things in the world, both as a human and as a photographer, is celebrating people. Watching milestones unfold and turning them into images that hold that feeling forever… it’s pure magic. ✨

Intuition isn’t some woo-woo magic, it’s your internal radar. It’s that pull in your stomach, that sense of energy, the quiet “yes” or “no” that shows up before your brain even catches up.

For me, listening to my intuition starts with coffee…I need that first cup before I can actually hear it. Coffee first, intuition second. Priorities. ☕️✨

After the caffeine hits is when I notice which projects spark me, which collabs are worth my energy, and which ones are just… noise.

As creatives, we say yes a lot. Every idea, every collab, every client. It’s fun, until it’s not. Until your energy dips, your gut tightens, or you realize you’re just going through the motions.

It took me years to realize I can say no. That I get to choose what actually feels aligned. It also took me years to realize that saying no isn’t giving up, it’s making space for the work and people that actually move you forward.

Here’s how I check in with my intuition before saying yes:

☕ Does this excite me, or am I just doing it because I feel like I have to?
🔥 Does it challenge me in a good way, or drain me before it even starts?
💡 Will this actually move my work forward, or is it shiny noise?
🖤 Do I actually want to work with these people, or do I feel obligated because someone simply asked?

Your intuition matters because it protects your energy, keeps you from burnout, and leads you to the projects that actually fit, the ones that make you feel alive, challenged, and aligned.

Lately I’ve realized something…
A lot of people see my work as “creative,” “intuitive,” or “supportive,” but they don’t actually know what that *means* in practice.

So here’s the real version, the behind-the-scenes, this-is-what-it-actually-looks-like explanation:

I help creatives untangle the chaos in their brain and turn it into direction, momentum, and actual clarity.

🎶 Sometimes that looks like helping a musician shape their story before a release.
📸 Sometimes it’s helping a photographer figure out what to offer next.
✨ Sometimes it’s giving a small business owner a strategy that actually feels doable instead of draining.

And yes, sometimes intuitive guidance plays a role.

Confession: I’ve never been a Christmas person. 🫣🎄

For years, December was stressful. Gifts I couldn’t afford. Obligations I didn’t want. Pressure I didn’t need.

Then, I discovered Yule and the winter solstice celebrations that focus on reflection, intention, and honoring the return of light. Rituals, quiet moments, and a pause instead of the chaos. And suddenly… it clicked.

Now I do Christmas my way:
✨ Small, intentional traditions that feel me
✨ Gifts that actually matter — handmade photobooks, posters, or thoughtful finds I know people will love
✨ Moments of quiet that hit harder than any party ever could

And here’s the thing, this is exactly the energy I bring into my work.
I don’t do cookie-cutter. I don’t force “engagement.” I help creatives, artists, and makers show up fully as themselves, make real connections, and create things that actually matter.

So if Christmas ever feels like too much, too noisy, or just… not yours…
Consider this your permission to rewrite it.

Make it yours.
Make it honest.

Listen… my life has been loud lately.
The kind of loud your intuition makes when you’ve been ignoring it for too long.

The Capricorn in me wants structure, a plan, a five-year map with color-coded tabs.
The Pisces Moon in me just wants to feel something real and help people breathe easier.
And somewhere between those two versions of myself… is the person I’m actually becoming.

Here’s the truth:
I’ve outgrown the version of myself that only shares one part of my work.
I’m not just a photographer.
I’m not just a social media manager.
I’m not just a nanny or a tarot reader.
And I’m definitely not meant to stay in a box I’ve already grown past.

I’m an alchemist. I take the pieces of people’s stories, emotions, and experiences and help turn them into something that feels more meaningful.

So moving forward, you’re going to see more of the full version of me here —
the creative, the intuitive, the storyteller, the Capricorn who gets s**t done, and the Pisces Moon who feels everything.

You’ll see:

Some of you know I’ve always been drawn to the metaphysical. ✨🔮

I started reading tarot about five years ago to connect with my intuition and deepen my spiritual practice.

Later, I worked in a crystal shop, where I got to combine my social media and photography skills with reading for others.

I got to photograph my dear friend Lisa again , astrologer, timing magic expert, and the one I always turn to when I need some cosmic guidance. 🌙

We’ve worked together many times over the years, and each time feels like a little bit of magic in front of the lens.
