Dog park days.

I’ve learned that limitations to travel can push creativity to new levels.

I’ve spent a large portion of my Oregon time at the dog park so the pups can live their best lives.
Grateful to have a husband who is willing to entertain them so I too can play 📸

I love the whimsical nature of these water abstracts and will miss this park immensely.

When the light hits just right.

Those who’ve been to the Oregon coast know it’s hit or miss with conditions. This trip however I was treated to a beautiful morning glow.

Each return trip to the coast challenged me to find new ways of seeing. This one was from my last morning out.

After worrying that I would come back with the same images as always, I discovered a new area with incredible ripples. I was once again reminded of the importance of being open to what nature has in store.

There’s always a chance for something new if you keep showing up.

It’s been an eventful few months.
We listed our house for sale with plans to leave Oregon.
The summer was then spent taking in my 2 favorite photo spots - The coast and the dog park.
Both very different but equally inspiring.

As we prepare to leave and close an amazing chapter, I’ll be sharing my favs of the summer.

Here’s the first one.
Enjoy!

The older I get, the more I’m drawn to the beauty of simplicity.

There’s too much unnecessary noise these days.

Less is more.
