The Senior Art Class at the Renzie Senior Center is scheduled for Friday, August 21, at 1:00 PM. Attendees will be able to choose between two projects as we explore the use of PanPastels. This portrait of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel will be one of the options as we explain how to use PanPastels to create a portrait of your pet or any other animal.

Reminder: this class is for senior citizens ONLY.

If you are a senior citizen and would like to spend an afternoon being creative, having fun and developing your artistic talent, come to Lou’s art class (Louetta Romanchak) at the White Oak Athletic Center on Lower Heckman Road. The classes are scheduled on the first Wednesday of every month at 12:30 pm unless otherwise announced. I will be assisting Lou with these classes and sharing my experience and knowledge. There was a great turnout for the first class on June 3.

Lou and I will also be holding classes at the Renzie Senior Center in Renziehausen Park beginning on Friday, June 19, at 1:00 pm.

There are no prerequisites, no previous experience required and you don’t need to bring anything to class unless you already have a set of colored pencils - most class projects are done with colored pencils.
