You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on this wall. You need me on this wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something so what it’s just grass, water and our heard. This Buffalo was shot in Wyomings Yellowstone National Park.

Shot in the Caribbean at Paradise Beach in Cozumel Mexico as the pandemic began to spread past China. All I could think of seeing these beautiful birds was… Swim Nemo SWIM!!!!

This Majestic Peacock, though not photographed in Pittsburgh… to my surprise has been seen in small quantities roaming wild near Pittsburgh of late. When a gal I met about a month ago said she had seen some in her front yard, I though she was seeing male turkeys spreading for the hens. Then about a week later I seen a small group of Peacocks while on a drive.

This image is “Bad…” as in amazing black and white image of some of the roughest terrain in the United Sates. Incredible detail of the Yellow Mounds area and shot of a small herd of sheep one-by-one dropping off the edge a cliff. The clouds in the distance almost appear to be part of this remarkable land.

The Emu, second-largest living bird by height, after its ratite relative, the ostrich. From Australia where it is the largest native bird. Emus are large, flightless birds. Their necks and legs are long, but their wings are tiny, reduced to less than 8 inches (20 centimeters). Its height averages 5.7 feet (1.75 meters). Males weigh 110 to 121 pounds (50 to 55 kilograms), and females weigh about 11 pounds (5 kilograms) more than males.

This particular Emu I shot looks to be in contemplation. It looks quite serious in its thinking in this black-and-white composition. I think monochrome really brings out the beauty of both this animal combined with the scene itself.

Take a good long look at this beautiful black and white photo taken from the beach in Ocean City, Maryland… now close your eyes. Consider the first smells that come to mind. Then consider the sounds you might hear. Do you hear a bird diving for its next meal? You might hear the soothing swoosh of the waves gently pushing up the sandy beach. What comes to mind for me is that I can find the meaning in such beauty of nature no matter how shocking and sometimes dark life may seem.
