Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇲

As we celebrate the birth and perseverance of our country in the USA, I am reminded that among our freedoms is the freedom to explore the beautiful landscapes of this country.

The freedom of the open road, the beautiful natural areas are what fuels my passion for camping.

On the mend

It's been quite a week for Rocky. He spent a couple of days at the emergency vet after losing use of his back legs and becoming quite sick from a tick borne illness, despite being on flea & tick preventitive. Although he has been sidelined from zoomies for a bit, he is back to barking at people and demanding what he wants when he wants it.

Thankful for supportive & caring people for me and Rocky & the grace of God that allows me to remain his person for a little while longer.

Do you like waterfront campsites?

Although all types of campgrounds offer waterfront sites, there are some types of campgrounds that are built around water features that make it easier to find those sites.

✅️ Army Core of Engineer
✅️ Muskingham Watershed (Ohio)
✅️ Tennessee Valley Authority (Tennesse)
✅️ Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Areas (Colorado)

These sites go fast, so book early!



Where do you find waterfront campsites?

Watching someone who loves what she is doing is an enchanting experience and that is what it is like to watch Lily dance.

Sure, she is graceful, poised, and dances with excellence, but the real joy is seeing her face light up from begining to end, especially when she is dancing with her friends and assisting the little girls who are just being introduced to dance.

Absent from photos are her dad ( ) & sister, Abby, who left after the recital to get Abby to play.
