A celebration of love, tradition, timeless elegance, and a little bit of magic. 🤍✨

From the beauty and sacred traditions of a Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church to the stunning gardens of Mellon Park, every part of this Pittsburgh wedding was something special.

And that afternoon light at Mellon Park? Absolutely unforgettable. The way the sunshine illuminated the bride’s flowing Pronovias gown and delicate veil was pure magic. Every movement, every little glance, and every beautiful detail came together so effortlessly.

The celebration continued at the iconic Fairmont Pittsburgh, where sophisticated white florals, elegant details, and an incredible atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable evening. And once the dancing started, the energy was contagious! From heartfelt traditions to a packed dance floor, this was a celebration filled with so much joy, personality, and love.

A beautiful reminder that the most unforgettable weddings are the ones that feel just as incredible as they look. 🤍

A little romance, a little movement, and a whole lot of fall magic at Hartwood Acres Mansion. 🍂🤍

There is something so effortlessly beautiful about autumn engagement sessions in Pittsburgh, especially when the backdrop is as timeless as Hartwood Acres Mansion. Between the historic Tudor-style architecture, sprawling estate grounds, lush gardens, and the first hints of fall color making their way through the landscape, this location is an absolute dream for engagement photography.

And can we talk about these two?!

They showed up feeling a little nervous about being in front of the camera, which is completely normal, and absolutely knocked it out of the park. The chemistry, the laughter, the movement, the sweet in-between moments. You would never know they had an ounce of hesitation!

And this is exactly why I believe engagement sessions are such an important part of the wedding photography experience.

It’s about so much more than having beautiful photographs before your wedding day. It’s an opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, learn how we work together, discover what feels natural, and build the confidence that carries right into your wedding portraits.

By the time your wedding day arrives, you’re no longer wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand. You already know the rhythm, you trust the process, and you can simply enjoy being together.

So if you’re on the fence about scheduling an engagement session with your wedding photographer, consider this your sign to do it. I promise, you’ll be so glad you did.

From romantic garden portraits to playful, editorial-inspired moments, this fall engagement session at Hartwood Acres Mansion was everything I love about photographing couples in Pittsburgh.

From the beautiful autumn scenery and rich fall colors to the most gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony, every detail of this Pittsburgh-area country club wedding was effortlessly elegant. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for an October wedding in Pennsylvania!

Timeless white florals, rich chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses, classic black tuxedos, and a stunning satin wedding gown created the perfect combination of modern sophistication and romantic fall wedding style.

Their outdoor ceremony was surrounded by lush greenery and the first hints of autumn foliage, followed by joyful wedding party portraits, romantic moments overlooking the golf course, and a beautifully styled reception filled with elegant white floral arrangements and thoughtful details.

And while the setting was undeniably beautiful, it was the bride’s radiant energy and joyful spirit that truly brought the day to life! From playful moments with her bridesmaids to spontaneous celebrations and sweet moments as newlyweds, the entire day was filled with genuine emotion, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A beautiful celebration of love, timeless wedding style, and everything we adore about fall weddings in Pittsburgh! 🤍

Classic Pittsburgh elegance, with just the right amount of chaos at the end. 🤍

From a wedding ceremony at historic St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Pittsburgh’s Strip District to portraits among the iconic architecture of the city and a reception at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, this wedding had such a beautiful mix of timeless style and personality.

A classic satin Anne Barge wedding gown. A groom who couldn’t hold back the emotion when he saw his bride. Bridesmaids trying very hard not to peek. Portraits framed by massive Pittsburgh columns. And then, somewhere between the formalities and the dance floor, custom hats, heart-shaped sunglasses and glow sticks entered the story. 😂

Those are always my favorite wedding days to photograph. The ones that look beautiful without feeling overly perfect. Elegant portraits, real reactions, a little movement, a little ridiculousness and photographs that actually feel like the people in them.

And that nighttime lift on the Hotel Monaco rooftop? That one deserved its own moment. ✨

An October wedding in downtown Pittsburgh with a look that felt equal parts classic, modern and editorial. Jamie and Chris looked incredible — black tie, clean white florals, pearl detailing and a gown that absolutely deserved its own moment.

We took advantage of one of my favorite Pittsburgh portrait locations, the Mellon Institute columns, using the architecture for everything from clean walking portraits to that dramatic flying-dress moment. And can we talk about the back of Jamie’s gown? The oversized bow, delicate beading, covered buttons and cathedral-length veil were MADE for photographs like these.

Their details carried that same elevated feeling throughout the day — a soft neutral invitation suite, pearl-accented shoes, classic white-and-green florals, engraved crystal and just enough black to give everything contrast.

Then it was back downtown to the The Atterbury Hotel, Autograph Collection for their Pittsburgh wedding reception. The Atterbury’s rich, elegant, modern style was such a beautiful continuation of the day — sophisticated without feeling overly traditional and a gorgeous setting for a luxury downtown Pittsburgh wedding.

Jamie + Chris, you two made this one EASY. 🖤

There is just something about a wedding at the Winter Garden at PPG Place. 🤍 The soaring glass, incredible architecture, and all of that beautiful natural light create a backdrop that somehow works with every style, every vibe, and every season. It can feel modern, romantic, editorial, dramatic, classic—or all of those things at once.

And this wedding was such a perfect example of that.

The bride crocheted her own wedding dress, which made it completely one-of-a-kind and such a beautiful reflection of her personal style. She carried that individuality throughout the entire day with the most gorgeous use of red—deep red bridesmaids dresses, a red lip, and florals by brambleandblossom that brought everything together. Against the glass, greenery, and architecture of the Winter Garden, that red was absolutely stunning. ❤️

It’s one of the reasons I love photographing weddings here so much. The Winter Garden gives us this incredible architectural canvas without ever dictating what a wedding has to look like. You can bring in bold color or keep everything completely neutral. You can make it glamorous, minimal, romantic, modern, or totally your own—and the space just works. Even after photographing so many weddings here, I’m always finding different angles, different light, and new ways to use the architecture.

A beautiful day, a bride with such a distinct sense of style, and one of my favorite Pittsburgh spaces to photograph. ✨

The most beautiful start to fall. 🤍🍂

Ashley + Andrew had one of those wedding days where everything just came together — perfect temperatures, gorgeous golden light, and two people who were completely comfortable together in front of the camera.

Ashley, owner of Covelli Creations, connected with me early in her planning process, and I was so excited to finally photograph her and Andrew after getting to know her throughout the process.

One of my favorite parts of their day was actually having time inside the church for portraits. Wedding timelines move FAST, and so often we’re heading straight from the ceremony into family photos, wedding party and everything else that needs to happen before the reception. It was such a nice change to have a little extra time to slow down and create some more intimate portraits inside the space where they had just gotten married. The stained glass, beautiful light, dark wood and Ashley’s incredible veil made these some of my favorite images from the day.

Future brides — if your church allows it, consider building even 10–15 minutes into your timeline for portraits inside your ceremony space. You chose a beautiful place to get married… let’s actually create something there. ✨

And we HAVE to talk about that cake. The tiny figurine of Ashley + Andrew’s dog tucked into the cake was such a cute personal detail. And I rarely ever eat wedding cake, but the burnt almond cake from Bethel Bakery was AMAZING. I absolutely had some. 😂

Ashley + Andrew, we had such a great time spending the day with you. It was such a beautiful wedding from beginning to end, and your photos turned out absolutely gorgeous. I cannot wait for you two to see the rest. 🤍

Golden hour at Phipps just never misses. ✨ The warm evening light, the gorgeous ornamental grasses and gardens surrounding the conservatory, and that unmistakable Pittsburgh backdrop made the perfect setting for this engagement session.

But these two brought the best part—the energy. So much movement, laughter, playfulness, and chemistry that the entire session felt effortless. From quiet moments tucked into the gardens to dancing, dipping, running barefoot through the grass, and soaking up the last bit of that warm golden sunset, their personalities came through in every frame.

Phipps Conservatory is especially beautiful this time of year, when everything starts to take on those rich late-summer tones and the evening light turns soft and golden. 🤍

There’s something about a wedding at Glen Eden Barn that feels equal parts romantic, relaxed, and completely timeless. 🤍

Every detail of this day felt so thoughtfully chosen — from her incredible gown and cascading white florals to all of the little details she spent months bringing together. And can we talk about that petal toss?! Such a fun alternative for a ceremony exit, and easily one of my favorite moments to photograph. The movement, the petals flying everywhere, and that just-married happiness made it absolutely perfect.

Her bridal look was stunning from beginning to end, and that dress photographed beautifully from every angle — especially underneath her veil for those soft, intimate portraits.

And then the evening completely changed gears. ✨ The barn came alive, the dress got shorter, the dance floor got louder, and we even ended the night with fireworks in the distance. Those are the little unexpected moments that make a wedding gallery feel like the entire story of the day instead of simply a collection of pretty photographs.

If you’re planning a Glen Eden Barn wedding in Evans City, Pennsylvania and looking for timeless, editorial wedding photography that still feels natural, joyful and completely you, this is exactly the kind of day I love documenting.

A beautiful Carnegie Museum wedding in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a day that felt every bit as timeless and elegant as the setting. 🤍

Their wedding began with an emotional Coptic Orthodox ceremony at Heinz Memorial Chapel in Oakland, filled with tradition, beautiful ceremonial details, and so many meaningful moments. From there, the celebration continued at the Carnegie Museum of Art & Natural History, surrounded by its iconic architecture and gorgeous wedding décor.

From portraits throughout the Carnegie Museum to the reception celebration, this was such a beautiful example of why the Carnegie is one of my favorite Pittsburgh wedding venues to photograph. Elegant, architectural, romantic, and unmistakably Pittsburgh.
