Should I feel bad for her?

As I’m walking into the grocery store, this lady is walking as fast as she possibly can pushing her baby cart. Next comes a security guard hollering miss… miss… stop!

Yes, she was stealing food. Here’s my dilemma… How desperate must she be? Her baby had to be young, being in that little baby cart. I kind of wanted to go track her down and give her some money. But then I think that I’m rewarding her for stealing.

What would you have done?

Help me understand what I’m missing, please! If you’re walking and talking on your phone and you have it on speakerphone. Yet you’re holding the bottom of the phone perpendicular to your head, but 6 inches away… It all seems counterintuitive.
