Sweat, sulfur, and endless mountain views. 🌋✨

We tackled the steep trails of El Salvador this summer, and let me tell you, the heat is no joke! Hiking up through the lush green forests felt like stepping into another world—humid, wild, and totally alive. Every single step up the volcanic ash was a test of legs and lungs, but the rhythm of the climb just pulls you forward.

And then, you pop out near the summit and catch your breath. Standing on the crater’s edge, I looked across the valley and locked eyes with a neighboring volcano piercing right through the clouds. Seeing another massive giant sitting so close reminds you just how powerful this land is. The mist rolled in and out, wrapping the peaks in a moody, beautiful haze.If you are looking for an adventure that pushes your limits and humbles your soul, put El Salvador’s volcanoes on your list. Pack extra water, start at sunrise, and get ready to be amazed. 🥾🌿

Under the Shade of a Thousand Colors 🌈✨

If you find yourself wandering through the heart of Skopje during the peak of summer, there is one place where the intense Macedonian sun transforms into a dancing kaleidoscope of light. Tucked away in the vibrant Old Bazaar (Čaršija), the famous Umbrella Street is a visual masterpiece that turns an ordinary stroll into a dreamlike experience.

High above the cobblestone alleys, hundreds of brightly colored umbrellas hang suspended between the historic buildings. When the summer sun hits them just right, they cast a shifting mosaic of red, blue, yellow, and green shadows across the ground below. It is the perfect fusion of Skopje's deep, centuries-old history and a burst of modern, playful art.Walking through this corridor feels like stepping into a living postcard. The historic Ottoman-era architecture of the Old Bazaar surrounds you, filled with the rich aroma of fresh Turkish coffee, sizzling kebabs, and sweet baklava. Jewellers, artisans, and teahouses line the path, creating an atmosphere where past and present seamlessly blur together.

For photography enthusiasts, this spot is an absolute paradise. Whether you look straight up to capture the geometric patterns of the canopy against a crisp blue sky, or snap a candid shot of the colorful shadows playing on the stone pavements, every angle is pure magic. It is proof that even the most functional everyday objects can be reimagined to bring joy, shade, and inspiration to a city.

If you are planning your summer itinerary for North Macedonia, make sure to carve out an afternoon to get lost in the bazaar and find your way under this canopy. Grab an iced coffee from a nearby café, slow your pace, and just look up.Have you ever visited a city with an umbrella street? Let me know your favorite spots in the comments below! 👇

Bright, golden petals stretching out like sunbeams, perfectly framing a fuzzy little worker bee lost in its daily routine. 🌻🐝

There is something deeply grounding about getting an up-close look at nature’s perfection. Standing in the middle of a vast field in Serbia, you quickly realize why this region is so famous for its endless seas of yellow. During peak season, the Vojvodina region transforms into a rolling landscape of vibrant gold, stretching as far as the eye can see.

But as breathtaking as the grand scale is, the real magic happens when you stop, lean in, and look closely.

Zooming in on a single sunflower reveals an incredible, intricate world. The geometric perfection of the seed spirals in the center is a masterpiece of natural engineering. Watching a single honeybee meticulously move from tiny bloom to tiny bloom, completely dusted in bright yellow pollen, reminds you of the quiet, vital work happening every single second around us.

Serbia’s sunflower fields aren’t just a beautiful backdrop for a road trip; they are a thriving, buzzing ecosystem fueling life.It is a gentle reminder to slow down, look a little closer at the world, and appreciate the small, industrious moments that keep our planet turning.Have you ever stood in a field of sunflowers?

There is something profoundly magical about looking down at Kotor, Montenegro from the absolute peak of the mountain.

Standing up here, where the rugged grey cliffs meet the deep, impossible blue of the Adriatic, everything below looks miniature, perfectly still, and deeply peaceful. The cruise ships look like toy boats drifting on glass, and the red roofs of the Old Town form a tiny, medieval maze trapped between the stone walls and the sea.But getting to this view? That felt like a mirror for the entire summer. This season has been a total rollercoaster. High highs, sharp drops, twists I never saw coming, and moments where I completely lost my breath. It was fast, chaotic, and beautiful all at once. There were days of pure adrenaline and days where I just had to hold on tight and trust the ride. Then came the Kotor Cable Car.

Stepping into that glass cabin and gliding silently up the mountain felt like the perfect finale to the chaos. As the ground falls away, the noise of the world just fades out. You go from the bustling, hot streets of the bay to the cool, crisp mountain air in a matter of minutes. It gives you the one thing a rollercoaster can’t: perspective.

From the top, you realize that the steep climbs and the sudden drops were all part of the journey to get to this exact vantage point. You needed the rush to appreciate the stillness.Montenegro, you have completely stolen my heart. The ride was wild, but the view from the top makes every single second worth it.

It’s official: we got ourselves into a major dill. 🥒

There is nothing quite like the sensory overload of Picklesburgh—Pittsburgh’s briniest, boldest, and weirdest summer tradition. Walking onto the Roberto Clemente Bridge with the towering, iconic giant flying Heinz pickle balloon floating overhead is a core Steel City memory every single time.

From one end of the span to the other, the air smelled like garlic, dill, and pure joy. We tasted our way through the absolute wildest concoctions imaginable—think pickle beer, pickle pizza, pickle ice cream, and savory pickle pierogies that honestly deserve an award. And of course, no trip across the bridge would be complete without watching brave souls face off in the infamous pickle-juice-drinking and pickle-bobbing contests.

It’s loud, it’s quirky, and it’s 100% Pittsburgh. If you weren't able to make it down to brave the crowds and soak up the brine this year, consider this your official sign to join the cult.

Ps. I hate pickles 🤣

The roar of the engines, the blur of colors flying past at 150+ mph, and the undeniable energy of a historic track—there is nothing quite like a race weekend at the legendary Watkins Glen International. 🏎️💨

From the moment you walk through the gates, you can feel the history written into the asphalt of this iconic New York road course. Standing trackside as a pack of cars thunders through the Esses, conquers the Inner Loop, and flies into the Boot is an absolute sensory overload. The smell of burning rubber, the vibration of the engines rattling right through your chest, and the collective roar of the crowd make it an unforgettable experience. 🏁✨

Whether you are a lifelong motorsport fanatic or just here for the high-octane atmosphere, The Glen never disappoints. There is a quiet magic in the morning fog lifting off the track, which quickly transforms into pure, unadulterated adrenaline the second the green flag drops. Every lap is a masterclass in precision, speed, and strategy. We spent the weekend cheering at the top of our lungs, exploring the garages, and soaking in every second of the trackside energy. We are leaving exhausted, covered in a little bit of track dust, and already counting down the days until the next race weekend. 🏆

Swipe through to catch a glimpse of the action from the stands and the pits! 👇
