Michael Hoffman, executive director and publisher of Aperture Foundation passed away in 2001. Prior to his passing he hired photographers to document traditional healing practices around the world. I was chosen to document the the Yoruba in Nigeria. Seen here is a vodoo master I photographed. Michael passed away before the book materialzied. Does anyone know if Michael Hoffman and Aperture books ever moved forward with a book about Traditional Healers of the World.
