The HYPNOTIC sounds of the mandolin echo high above the Rocks 🤘

The mandolin Jimmy Page played on "The Battle of Evermore" was actually John Paul Jones'. “A mandolin was lying around, it wasn’t mine, it was Jonesey’s,” Page told Guitar Player in 1977. “I just picked it up, got the chords, and it sort of started happening. I did it more or less straight off. My fingerpicking is a mix of Pete Seeger, Earl Scruggs, and sheer incompetence.”
