Your wedding day is temporary. Your photos are forever. Choosing your photographer should be a big deal.

You’re going to spend a huge part of your wedding day with this person, so you should actually like them, trust them, and feel comfortable around them.

Schedule a phone call. Ask questions. Get a feel for their personality, their communication style, and how they approach a wedding day. If you can, book your engagement session with them too — it gives you a chance to see how you feel in front of their camera before the wedding day ever gets here.

And if you’re deciding between a few photographers, talk to all of them. Beautiful work matters, but so does the person behind the camera.

You should feel supported, comfortable, and confident knowing they’re going to take care of you when the day gets exciting, emotional, or a little chaotic.

That’s what I want for every couple who chooses me. 🤍
