Moose look so majestic… but never underestimate how powerful they are. Our family unexpectedly walked into this incredible experience while exploring Grand Teton National Park. From a safe distance, we watched this massive bull moose rest peacefully in the water and then make his way out. It was one of those moments we knew we’d never forget.

Bok Tower Gardens was absolutely alive with color! 🦋

Butterflies floated from flower to flower,bees gathered pollen and a bright red cardinal watched from the greenery. My favorite moment may have been seeing two swallowtails sharing the same yellow flower.

Nature’s little supermodels. 😍

From the shimmering eyes of a dragonfly to the tiny details on a skipper butterfly and the elegant Gray Hairstreak, there’s an entire world hiding just inches from our feet.

Sometimes all it takes is slowing down long enough to see it.

Florida’s cutest little neighbors 🦉 ❤️

The baby is my favorite! Which one is yours?

Watching these little owls interact with each other is incredible. They may be small, but they have huge personalities, and every expression tells a different story.

Florida is lucky to have these amazing little birds, and it’s always a privilege to observe them respectfully from a distance.

Every walk into nature feels like opening a tiny hidden world. From curious flies and colorful dragonflies to fearless jumping spiders and hardworking paper wasps, these little creatures never stop surprising me. Macro photography has completely changed the way I see what’s right in front of us. 🐝🕷️🪰📷

Slow down for a moment, and you’ll discover a completely different world—emerald-green katydids, colorful orb-weavers, curious jumping spiders, dragonflies standing guard, and even the smallest flies revealing incredible detail.

Every one of these photographs was captured in their natural environment with patience, respect, and a macro lens. No subjects were moved or altered—just nature showing off its incredible beauty.

I went to Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland after a good downpour and wasn’t sure what I’d find—but I’m so glad I went! Macro photography is new to me, and I have a lot to learn, but I’m loving every minute. Getting inches from spiders is definitely testing me! 😂 I finally left when a huge alligator bellowed just a few feet behind me. That was my cue! 😅

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

From sea to shining sea, our nation’s beauty is something I’ll never stop appreciating. Capturing this magnificent bald eagle in Yellowstone National Park was a reminder of the strength, freedom, and wild places that make America so extraordinary.

Today we celebrate 250 years of history, resilience, and the people who continue to shape this great country. Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Independence Day.

I’ve been playing in the yard with my new macro lens. First, I didn’t realize some of these critters hung out here and second, I can’t believe how good they look knowing how small they are. This lens is one of my new favorites to figure out and macro photography is now one of my favorite styles!!
