I feel like i really hit a full circle moment here!
I met Tara through a social media page i made for my dog, Bear. and our dogs came from the same breeder… what are the odds?

Getting to photograph her and her two German Shepherds was the perfect mix of my two favorite things: dogs and photography.

And the best part? None of this would exist without Bear. He’s the reason I picked up a camera in the first place.

Despite the cold and wind, I was so happy to meet Tara, Kelsie and Kai!! I had such a great time and hopefully next time I can bring Bear along.

I cant wait to finalize this gallery!

Mothers Day sessions are so special to me because I’m a mom too and I know how often we’re the ones behind the camera instead of in front of it.

I don’t know when she stopped being my little baby niece and started becoming this cool 12year old 🥹 (well, she was always cool though...but man 12 years has gone by so fast)

I've taken so many photos of Eva for holidays, birthdays, & random selfies of us together... But this time my photography felt a lot more intentional. I kept catching myself focusing on the little things like her freckles, her eyes and the way she smiles because I wanted to freeze every detail before she changes again.
It makes me emotional because I can still see the little version of Eevee in all of it.

I love you with all my heart Eva and I'm so proud of the sweet, caring, hilarious, athletic, intelligent and talented person you are.

There is a chance you may end up seeing this entire gallery eventually because I’m obsessed!!! Other than the first photo, this entire session was documentary style without me prompting this sweet family at all. I felt honored to be invited into Caitlyn’s home and to witness some of their daily adventures and document it for them. I had so much fun watching them play with their mud kitchen, hang out with the animals and explore the woods. What a truly beautiful, imaginative and joyful childhood these boys have.
