We’re just under a week away from the premiere of CYCLES and ! The screening is SOLD OUT but rush tickets will be released 10 minutes before the block begins. The film will be shown in the NW Series block on Sunday, April 19th, held at at 2:00pm. I hope to see you there!

This post goes out to my amazing crew(s) that made this project possible.

CYCLES is the first installment of an anthology highlighting local film photographers. The goals of this project are to shed light on some amazing local artists and serve as an opportunity to collaborate with a range of other filmmakers. I will be producing and shooting each installment through .llc and intend to collaborate with different directors across the anthology.

This first installment granted me the opportunity to work with the ever talented . I am forever grateful for our friendship and collaboration! I also had the pleasure of working with two separate crews for this installment which were both jam packed with skillful and quite lovely folks.

The end product of this film is directly correlated to the folks that were apart of it. Each and every one of them brought unique perspectives and immeasurable talents to the table.

already broke the news but I’m excited to share that we’re headed to next month!

If we’ve bumped into eachother at a networking event or industry mixer anytime in the last couple years I’m sure I talked to you about wanting to shoot a series of short docs highlighting local photographers. ‘CYCLES’ is the first installment of a body of work I’m referring to as ‘Through the Lens’.

When I started thinking about whose story I wanted to tell for the first one came to mind immediately. Her passion for film photography is absolutely infectious, her eye for details and story is incomparable, and her genuine love for the community is indisputable.

I cannot wait for ya’ll to hear a bit about her journey with film. Who knows, maybe you’ll go out and pick up a camera and roll of Kodak Gold afterward.

Last October I had the privilege of working on ‘Chimera’ alongside some amazing folks. This is the first of a few posts reflecting on and celebrating this project!

I’m excited to share that the film will be premiering at next month on April 19th, during the NW Shorts Program 2, at the !

This project really pushed my skills as a First AC from the FX6 & Fujinon build to the wild zoom/focus-pulls we did on the fly. Huge thanks to and for bringing me on board and trusting me to keep the camera running and in focus.
