What an absolutely fun surprise I had to see this plane taking off from the PDX airport in Portland, Oregon. It was cool enough seeing it but I had to try making it blast through space.
This is not AI but composites and editing with the background being a NASA image which are public domain.
Alaska Airlines features a custom space-black Boeing 737-800 aircraft (Tail N538AS) called the "Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort". The livery, which took 228 gallons of paint, features the Millennium Falcon on the tail being pursued by TIE Fighters.
Unlike static exhibits, this is an active commercial plane. It is deployed across the Alaska Airlines network, making it a fun surprise for travelers flying in and out of the Pacific Northwest and across the U.S.

AMERICA'S 250TH ANNIVERSARY

On May 30, 2026 Portland Oregon celebrated America’s 250th anniversary with a spectacular night on the waterfront as tenured partners, presented the America 250 Fireworks Show.

This was the most spectacular fireworks display I've ever seen. With the beautiful Portland skyline as a background and a good wind blowing the majority of the smoke south it was a perfect night. My location directly across from the barge was spot on.

It stars Caitríona Balfe as Claire Randall, an English former World War II military nurse in Scotland who, in 1945, finds herself transported back in time to 1743. There, she encounters and falls in love with a dashing Highland warrior named Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), a tacksman of Clan Fraser of Lovat whom she later marries.

Down the Rabbit Hole for some Stephen King AI images from the movie 'IT'.

It is a 2017 American supernatural horror film directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga, and Gary Dauberman. It is the first of a two-part adaptation of the 1986 novel of the same name by Stephen King. Set in the fictional town of Derry, Maine, the film tells the story of The Losers' Club, a group of seven outcast children who are terrorized by the eponymous being which emerges from the sewer in the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Skarsgård), and face their own personal demons as the monster torments them.

Trying something a little different with the jets flying out from PDX this week. Panning these fast jets with such a slow shutter speed is HARD. 🥲
Out of 400 images here are a couple that turned out okay.
Photos were shot between 1/30 and 1/80th of a second, f/8.0 ISO 100.
