WOW!!! Such a beautiful Alien - Pearls ⭐ Feather lashes ⭐ A bead collar that looked like it was spun from the deep sea floor. Hair and makeup at last night's Shifting Realities opening at the Porsche Studio in Portland wasn't an afterthought, it completed the vision. Event Cosmetics created looks that could hold their own against a room full of sculpture and light, and somehow they did. Every face was its own installation. Loved getting to create these stunning images 💗

This is the kind of work that makes you slow down and look twice.

The installation was breathtaking. Last night at Porsche Studio Portland's Shifting Realities opening was one of those evenings that reminded us why we show up to every event with our eyes wide open.

There's something that happens when you put humans inside a world this imaginative — they wonder, reach out and touch things and look at each other differently. Lisa Camero's Galaxica installation gave everyone permission to be fully present in a way you just don't see at most events.

Loved being there with my camera! These are a few of the frames that stopped us.

Some events you photograph. Some you step inside of. Last night we were at Porsche Studio Portland for the opening of Shifting Realities. And "immersive" doesn't even begin to cover it. Designer Lisa Camero's Galaxica mixed reality installation turned the room into something between a fever dream and a fairytale. Living flowers by Marina Safina, Hair and Makeup by Event Cosmetics, and light that made everything feel like it was breathing.

Not about the photos specifically. About having done it at all. About having something real to hold onto when this chapter ends.

Wind, cold., two torrential rain bouts, and one perfectly planned secret. 💕

Yesterday I had the honor of being in on Jarrod’s plan to propose to Kayleigh at Cannon Beach! And watching her say yes is a memory I’m going to hold onto for a long time.

The Oregon Coast had other ideas about the weather, but it couldn’t touch this moment. Not even a little.

Yesterday afternoon, I had the absolute honor of being let in on a secret — and watching it become a moment Jarrod & Kayleigh will carry with them for the rest of their lives. 🥹

When Jarrod first reached out a few months ago to start planning this day, I was immediately all in. He came to me thru my best friend's daughter - he's her volleyball coach (we love a good referral!) and from the very first conversation, we knew this was going to be something special.

Cannon Beach did not exactly cooperate weather-wise — we navigated wind, cold, and not one but two rounds of torrential rain — but honestly? None of that mattered. When that moment happened, everything else just fell away. The look on her face, the tears, the smiles, the jumping for joy and of course... the YES!

That's the thing about these moments — no amount of weather can touch them.

Congratulations, Jarrod & Kayleigh. I am so glad I got to be there. 💗💗💗

The outfit isn't a costume. It's a statement.

The sessions that feel most like the senior are the ones where she wore what she actually wears: elevated, but recognizable. Not dressed up as someone else.

Three looks minimum. One casual. One elevated. One that's pure her. Layers that swap easily. Colors she loves, not colors she thinks she should wear.
