Here is a redo of the Rosette Nebula. This image was taken back in December over the course of 6 nights totaling 490 subs at 300 seconds. The Rosette Nebula is approximately 5000 light-years from Earth. This nebula is a large star forming region in the constellation Monoceros.

Here is a redo of the Pleiades Star Cluster - M45, also known as the "Seven Sister". This image was taken back in January and consist of 271 subs over the course of 5 nights. I rotated the image to look like an angel. It is one of the closest star clusters to Earth at approximately 444 light-years away, containing more than 1000 stars. The "Seven Sisters" name comes from Greek mythology as the seven daughters of Titan Atlas and the sea nymph Pleione, who were pursued by Orion and turned into stars by Zeus.

Here is an image of M33-Triangulum Galaxy. The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy 2.73 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Triangulum. It is catalogued as Messier 33 or NGC 598. It has diameter of 61,100 light-years, the Triangulum Galaxy is the third-largest member of the Local Group of galaxies, behind the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way.

Well I just celebrated my 55th birthday. So I decided to buy a new astrophotography camera. The camera is an ASI2600MC Pro 2025 model. This is a 26MP camera that I'm using on my Redcat51 gen3. Here is a single image of my newest project with the Heart and Soul nebula. Also taking images of the Christmas Tree Cluster.

This is a redo of one I did last year. The left image is new and the right image is the one I took last year. This image was stacked using PixInsight and finished with GIMP 3.0. This image was taken with a Redcat 51 generation 3, ZWO ASI533MC, and an IDAZ NBZ-II 48mm ST2 dual band filter. Processed in PixInsight and GIMP 3.0. This image consists of 286 5-minute subs taken over the course of 4 nights. Would have taken more subs but had some telescope mount issue a couple of nights. The color palette is SHO. I let my wife Overcashier, work on the coloring to something she liked. The Heart Nebula, also known as IC 1805 is an emission nebula located in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. It is situated in the constellation Cassiopeia, approximately 7,500 light years away from Earth

Finally got a chance to do some more imaging. Here is IC5070 the Pelican Nebula. This image was taken with a Redcat 51 generation 3, ZWO ASI533MC, and an IDAZ NBZ-II 48mm ST2 dual band filter. Processed in PixInsight and GIMP 3.0. This image consists of 239 5-minute subs taken over the course of 3 nights. The color palette is HOO. I let my wife Overcashier, work on the coloring to something she liked.

The Pelican Nebula is an H II region (emission nebula) in the constellation Cygnus. Cataloged as IC 5070, this nebula lies right next to the North America Nebula. The Pelican Nebula contains an active mix of star formation and evolving gas clouds.

An ionization front is gradually transforming the gas of the Pelican Nebula thanks to light emitted by young energetic stars. Over millions of years, this nebula will no longer resemble a Pelican in shape, as the gas and placement of stars will have changed.

While I know I don't have a lot of followers I still appreciate each and everyone of you. With that said I apologize for not posting much these days. First a move into a new home, then monsoon season here in Colorado leaving night skys mostly cloudy, then I somehow managed to break the focuser on my new Celestron EdgeHD 8 SCT. I promise to have something really soon. I've gotten better at this and plan on redoing some of my older stuff as well as new images. Bare with me as I try to get things back to normal.
