Christmas at the studio starts THIS weekend & I can’t wait 😍

Santa let us borrow his sleigh again this year. It’s a perfect photo op before or after your photoshoot with me 🎅

It may not be cold this weekend but it’s always a good time to drink a cup of hot cocoa. It can be used as a post session bribe for good smiles 😋

By the trees I have a game area for you to play some festive games while you wait 🥰

& last but not least, the inflatables!!! We have inflatables along the walk from the parking lot to the trees. We switched up the order & added some new ones 🤫

This season is such a labor of love & we love sharing our holiday magic with you guys. I can’t wait to see everyone over the next 6(!!!) weekends 🥳

Ever wonder why some maternity photos have that effortless glow? 🤍

The secret isn't just the dress or the location. A big part of it is timing!

The sweet spot for maternity photos is typically between 28 and 34 weeks. Your beautiful bump is showing, and you can usually still move around and enjoy the experience without feeling quite so uncomfortable.

Wait until the very end, and you might be dealing with swollen feet, low energy, or a little one who decides to make their grand entrance earlier than expected. 😉

How does the newborn stage feel like it lasts 2 seconds AND 2 years all at the same time?! 😭

These tiny details become the biggest memories because babies don’t keep. The little fingers, the sleepy stretches, the way they fit perfectly in your arms… 🥺

One day, they’re this tiny, and the next, you’re wondering where the time went. 🤍

We have SO many pumpkins left over 🙃🎃

This year’s weather has been rough in pretty much every way. Our usual pumpkin guy wasn’t selling this year because his crop didn’t produce, so we had to find a new supplier… who, of course, was $200 more expensive 👇

We had already promised pumpkins for photos and to sell at the studio, so we adjusted our quantities and made it work. We sell our pumpkins basically at cost, so we’re not making much (if anything). We just want to cover what we paid and give y’all another fun little part of your photo experience 🧡

Everything would’ve been fine… until it wasn’t 😂

Our first weekend of Pumpkin Minis rolled around, and it poured ALL DAY Saturday. Then it poured ALL DAY Sunday. Obviously, not many people are looking to buy pumpkins in the middle of a downpour. 🌧️

We thought we’d have a chance to make up some of that cost this past weekend, but guess what? Rained out AGAIN. 🙃

So now we’re sitting here with SOOOOO many pumpkins left and barely half of our money back.

I’m not sharing this for pity or to pressure anyone into buying a pumpkin. I just want to be real with y’all and remind you that it’s not always sunshine and rainbows over here, either. Sometimes, even when you plan, prepare, and do everything you can to make things work, life has other plans.

And sometimes… it literally rains on your parade. 😂🎃

Since I started in 2017, that’s how many galleries I have - meaning that’s how many sessions I’ve had. Some are one time clients, some are once a year clients & some are once a week clients & I’m grateful for every single one of them 🥰

Congrats to for being the closest guess without going over - she guessed 21,789. SHOCKED by how scary close this guess was 😂
