Grabbed a picture of this pelican in flight. The pelicans are migrating back home and they always stop in Red Wing Minnesota to rest up and feed. The sky was so white that the pelican blended into it so I changed it to a better color in Photoshop.

Great blue heron coming in for a landing so that he can feed along the shoreline. The wingspan on this bird is amazing.

Happiness is getting your Nikon 200 to 500 mm lens back from Nikon labs and it’s not only been repaired but it’s been cleaned. This lens is so sharp right now. I took it for a run yesterday capturing some birds as they staged on the trees waiting their turn on the feeders.

Really excited and proud to have the opportunity to show 12 of my prints from my North Shore collection on display at the Sheldon Theatre mezzanine in Red Wing, Minnesota. If you are in the area for an event at the Sheldon, head up to the mezzanine and check out my work. Came across two bald eagle who were feeding on a kill. This eagle was feeding on the kill and the juvenile eagle was about 20 feet away. The video is of the other eagle that came out of the trees to do a fly over presumably to try to scare me away and protect the kill at the beginning of the video you can hear the other eagle screeching probably because he or she was upset with me.
