Owner, Dennis Jones, driving home from work came across a puppy on a two-lane highway on a late December, 38-degree night in 2008. He saw three cars coming towards him not stopping and driving around something? Dennis discovered it was an animal and happened upon this canine. By divine intervention, Dennis changed directions, and veered off the highway. The puppy was scared and cold with no trace
of a mother to be found. He held her up to his headlights to check for injuries and the puppy seemed to be fine. Her teeth had just come through her gums and she is in the weaning stage. Dennis adopted this smart, beautiful pup with no idea of her breed or history and named her HighWayGirl. When Dennis inquired with his vet, he did not know the breed of HighWayGirl. In 2011, Dennis became acquainted with a military veteran who took notice of a photo upon Dennis' desk and recognized HighWayGirl's breed. He informed Dennis that she's a Native American Dingo, sometimes called a swamp dog. Dennis then went back online and came across a website, sent in photos of HighWayGirl, and the breed was then discovered also called a American dingo/Carolina Dog. Feeling blessed with love from a chance discovery with this exceptional canine. PLEASE HELP ME, To Keep this Page CLEAN. This Is A Family Oriented Page.
