Was able to finish up a video project this month for a local company for a future home site. Anyone local needing some forestry mulching or land clearing give Big Country Mulching a shout. We are in the slow season for deer currently so now is a great time for some home photography or videography projects.

Lets talk Perseverance for a minute. Monday evening we took a trip down to Davidson County to look for a lost pup. The dog had got out at a groomer the day before which happens way more often than you would think. We started searching around 9 and by 9:30 we located "R***r" in a field sitting with a group of deer. The owner had reached out to Lynn Byrd who is a local dog tracker we started working with a couple of years ago. The three of us formulated a plan and went in to hopefully reunite the owner with R***r. Unfortunately like many of these dog recoveries, the dog doesn't always cooperate with our timing. We followed R***r around for 2+ hrs getting the owner inside 100 yards multiple times before R***r would take off. We called it around midnight Tuesday morning after the third attempt. The owner left scent items and pizza along with trail cameras. I've been traveling out of state this week so havent been able to get back out there this week but the owner continued to look for R***r and put the time in. We were scheduled to come out tonight once I got back in town since there had not been any sighting since our drone sighting Monday. Luckily we got some awesome news this morning. The owner and his daughter located R***r in a section of woods and this time R***r was ready to get home. I wanted to share this post for pet owners to realize when their pets get out, keep the faith and continue to put the effort in. We've seen these tracking jobs go on for weeks and even a month before. As much as we love finding 140" deer, these pictures we get from our clients are just as special.
