Moody morning on the Susquehanna.

There’s something about soft gray skies and still water that makes every texture stand out—the ripples, the clouds, the quiet light.

I’m always drawn to scenes like this. Calm, dramatic, and a little mysterious all at once.

What kind of weather inspires you most creatively—bright sunshine or moody skies?”

Thank you!

This one is a favorite and repeat subject of mine. I’m fascinated with run down buildings being reclaimed by nature. 🌳

- Just a note to say that I am officially posting all my art on my main page... Tracey Grumbach starting today. It makes no sense for me to post everything twice... so I would absolutely love and be honored if you could give me a FOLLOW over there. Love y'all and appreciate all the support.

Just trying to keep my life afloat is difficult enough between dealing with my husband's stage 4 cancer (Yes he still has it and yes, he has totally outlived what the doctors told him he would, Praise God! But it is such an emotional and difficult roller coaster ride day after day...) and my own debilitating chronic illnesses with twin s being seniors in high school and two adult children trying to navigate this crazy world!

Y'all know what I mean because I know we are all in the same boat in this fallen world. We all have our crosses to bear!

Anywho, I am so thankful to God for the HOPE we have in Him and for my absolute love affair with all things creative...writing books, creating art, and producing music. I couldn't function in life without the gifts of being creative.

Thanks for listening, and I hope to see you over on my main account.

LOVE TO ALL! Peace!
Tracey

What would I do without art? I can’t even fathom it. Writing songs, writing books and creating art is my therapy!

In Cardinal Prayer, Tracey Grumbach paints the fragile space between sorrow and hope. The young woman’s clasped hands and parted lips suggest a prayer caught mid-breath, while the crimson cardinal—often seen as a heavenly messenger—rests above her like a whisper from eternity. Surrounded by holly and fading blooms, she becomes a portrait of remembrance and resilience. Through soft light and painterly depth, Grumbach captures the sacred comfort of knowing love transcends what is seen, and faith bridges what is lost.

Series: “Hats and Prayers” series
A quiet reverence radiates from Irish Prayer, where innocence and devotion intertwine. A young woman bows her head in silent supplication, her hands pressed gently in prayer as butterflies and blossoms drift around her like living whispers of grace. The vivid red of her cap and the floral tapestry of her garment evoke both the vitality of Irish earth and the tenderness of faith. Grumbach balances realism and symbolism to capture a sacred stillness—one where the human spirit communes with the divine through beauty, humility, and quiet endurance.

Series: Hats and Prayers — No. 2

In Pray About Everything, Tracey Grumbach weaves a tender stillness into strength, capturing the sacred act of surrender through a hauntingly beautiful visual prayer. A young woman bows her head, hands pressed together, her eyes closed in quiet communion. Clad in dark lace and a floral-patterned hat adorned with faded blooms, she stands as a symbol of faith that endures through every season. Butterflies hover nearby — emblems of transformation — while a small bird rests upon her shoulder, a whisper of divine presence. The muted tones and textured depth evoke both fragility and resilience, reminding the viewer that prayer is not an escape but an engagement — the steady heartbeat of trust amid life’s fleeting beauty.
