The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing Al-generated CSAM depicting "fictional" children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home. So, we should probably talk about the recent federal court ruling involving Al-generated child se*ual abuse material.. The court ruled that the federal government cannot criminalize the private, in-home possession of obscene Al-generated CSAM under the statute at issue, so anyone can go and use any picture of a child's face or body and make child se*ual abuse material and it is completely LEGAL.
That is enough for me to say I will not be a part of the problem. If our government and laws aren't going to adequately protect children from what Al can do with their images, then I feel a responsibility to do my part to protect them.
I may not be a mom, but I will/would protect any child like they were my own.
