A venue that already has it going on — stunning architecture, mountain views, a blooming garden, you name it — means you’ve got a space that’s already doing the aesthetic heavy lifting. Which also means you’re not spending thousands on decor to create atmosphere from scratch.

Florals, draping, backdrops — those costs add up fast when you’re trying to transform a space. But when the bones are already beautiful? You need a lot less to make it feel like everything ✨

A church built in the 1800s. A harpist. Pretty florals. Bubbles out the door of a little white church that’s seen a lot of love over the last two centuries. 🩷

A & B chose to have a smaller private ceremony at Historic St. John’s Church in Coloma before joining all their people at Gold Hill Gardens later that day.

The intimate vibe was everything! Just an intentional guest list of their closest and favorite humans and so much joy in this little church ⛪️

They also chose to see each other for the first time at the altar. No first look, no previews — just the doors opening and that being the moment. I will never get tired of watching that happen 🥹

This is the kind of wedding day I will always say yes to 🤍
