Wrapping up the two days of Napoleon Dynamite themed events, Richmond Flying Mummies owners and movie cast members Jon Heder, Jon Gries, and Efrenramirez attended the first home game of a 2 game run against Rockford Rivets.

Donning Mummies uniforms, all three threw a first pitch at enjoyed the game as it went into overtime after a 7 run comeback by the Rivets tied the game.

After two innings of overtime, the Mummies were able to pull ahead with a walk off at the bottom of the 12th.

The Northwoods League teams will face each other at Don McBride Stadium again tonight, with fireworks to follow.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35p.

On Wednesday June 10th, Richmond Flying Mummies and RAM teamed up to host Napoleon Dynamite Live!

Following a meet and greet, cast members Jon Heder, Jon Gries, and Efrenramirez graced the stage after a screening of the film (and a time machine ride to the past) to share what the film ment to them, and how their paths crossed to end up playing the iconic roles they did.

Fans were given the opportunity to ask questions, while others participated in trivia and scene re-enactments for prizes including boondoggle keychains, chapstick (unopened), and individual tots.

Both showtimes ended the same way, with an impromptu costume look-a-like contest turned dance off, with winners being awarded a signed Flying Mummies baseball.

If you missed this opportunity or just want more Napoleon Dynamite in your life, all three actors (are part owners) will be at tonight’s Flying Mummies game at McBride Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35pm.

Be sure to arrive early to get concessions and snacks and enjoy overhaul grandstand seat before the game so that you don’t miss any of the action.

Last night was an incredible evening filled with so many laughs! We have photos from the Meet & Greet ready for you to view! We hope everyone who came out to both shows enjoyed themselves. We can't thank you all enough for being a part of this special moment at RAM. Your participation was a huge support in raising funds for the Richmond Art Museum, thank you for supporting the arts!

Napoleon Dynamite is something that is near and dear to so many and we loved having everyone come out to share in the fun! Don't forget, the fun with the guys continues tonight at the Richmond Flying Mummies game for Napoleon Dynamite Night!

We are unveiling the Uncle Rico Van that RAM and the Flying Mummies partnered on. If you were a student who had their artwork accepted to be on the van, you are invited to come to the game. There are tickets waiting for you at Will Call at the stadium!

The Mummies are on the road until next week, when the team returns to McBride Stadium for Napoleon Dynamite Night and face off against at 6:35pm on June 11th.

The day before, June 10th, the Mummies and team up for a special evening of Napoleon Dynamite Live! Featuring appearances by cast members , , and .efrenramirez, showing at 5pm and 8pm, with a meet and greet hosted at 4pm.

Mummies kept the game tied in the 9th inning, and proceeded to win by walk off with a 6-5 victory.

June 1, 2026 - While Wilbur didn’t get a birthday victory with the besting the with a file tally of 16-4, the Mummies still made the crowd happy with 9 strikeouts over the course of the game, leading to free pancakes curtesy of IHOP.

The Mummies face off at home against the tonight and tomorrow after beating them on the road last week. First pitch is at 6:35pm for both games.

In a rematch of Opening Day, .baseball teams the faced the again Tuesday evening.

In a turn around of the previous game, the mummies opened strong with 5 runs in the first inning, contributing to their 11-6 victory, the first for the season and as a team.

The Mummies are on the road for the rest of the week, and will return to McBride Stadium on Sunday, May 31st.
