I was so nervous going into this day, but I’m so thankful they trusted me to capture it for them.

Stepping outside of my comfort zone has been one of the best things I’ve done this year, and this day reminded me why.

Not gonna lie, when I first started going through this gallery, I immediately picked apart all the things I could’ve done better. 😂 But the more I edited, the more I found myself smiling at them. & on top of that, hearing how much the bride loved them made all those nerves worth it.

Did this shoot toward the beginning of my photography journey and never got around to posting them (I’ve learned that keeping up with social media is not my strong suit, whoops 😅)

We don’t need a fancy location or perfectly coordinated outfits. Just show up and let’s capture this moment as you are.

This entire session didn’t include a single posed photo. Instead, it was filled with playing tag, saying “six-seven” about 150 times, climbing, and rolling around in the leaves.

What we ended up with were images that captured exactly who he is in this season of life…the way he laughs, plays, explores, and just is.

Photo sessions don’t have to feel like pressure. They don’t have to be perfect. Just show up, be yourselves, and let the memories happen. Those are usually the moments you’ll want to remember most. 🤍

Loving everything from this session, but for now here’s a little sneak peek 🤍

I stepped a little outside of my comfort zone during this shoot and focused on capturing a few landscape-style images to help tell a deeper piece of their story instead of just the moments themselves. Sometimes the photos become so much more than pretty pictures...they hold chapters of people's lives.

These sweet clients have trusted me over and over again through multiple sessions. Going into this session, they weren't sure how many more times they'd be able to do this... A couple of days later, they found out he is finally in remission. God is so, so good y'all. I've watched them fight against this ugly disease for almost a year now & happy for them doesn't even begin to describe how I feel!

I'm endlessly grateful for the way photography has allowed me to connect with so many of you on such a personal level and to preserve moments that carry so much meaning. More from this beautiful session coming soon ✨

I truly could not have asked for a better bride and groom to rip the band-aid off with for my first wedding. They were so kind, so easy to work with, and made the entire day feel natural and fun from start to finish.

Mother’s Day minis were so much fun 🤍🌷

I’m so grateful that I get to call this one of my jobs. One of the most special parts of photography for me is getting to see so many familiar faces shoot after shoot. Watching your families grow, celebrating new seasons of life with you, and getting to know you beyond just a photo session is such a cool experience.
