Each June, we start rotational grazing so we can tend to the pastures and take care of invasives (this year’s big one being multiflora rose). The change of scenery also creates new photo ops. I think Aimee is vogueing here. She’s so fancy 😏.

I am delighted to learn that The Offering was just awarded honorable mention in the 21st Julia Margaret Cameron Award's portrait division. The Offering was created as part of a project I'm working on about home and the land. Feeling grateful. I’ve been creating new work so haven’t entered many calls for entry lately. That said, it was a delight to see hear that Woven, a photo I made with a dear friend, was just juried into the Center for Photographic Art’s 2023 International Juried Exhibition. Our goats love mulberry branches and have been stripping the bark in addition to the leaves. Drago’s been saving them for me and we’ve started building “walls” for my photographic home. It’s a work in progress and group effort, goats included!
