Something a little different for me. I was blessed to photograph the wedding of my best friend's son recently.

You know, you can take a lot of photos in a 3 hour span during a wedding!

Here's the first one I'll release as they've seen the preview.

Well, this hit me harder than I expected. This was the last landscape image I captured on 9/29/2025, before things went south and my mom passed away weeks later.

As I post this with tears running down my cheeks, I'm reminded of the fragility of life and the amazing roller coaster ride that it can be! I miss you Mom!

On a different note, I was shooting a dear friend's son's wedding rehearsal tonight, and tomorrow is their big day where I photograph my first wedding! So exciting to see the joy and happiness and excitement for life in their eyes. Youthful love and dreams. It is a roller coaster of a ride and I hope we can all make the best of it!

Be blessed! Know that no matter the struggles, God is with you. Find joy in each day and cherish your time with loved ones!

All across the western US the landscapes are being transformed by fire and drought. Just miles from my home the Castle Mountain Fire is burning, fires near Sedona, Bryce Canyon and many other beautiful places are altering the landscapes forever. I am thankful to have seen such great beauty and look to capture new images in a changed landscape. Hopefully the monsoons return soon, without much lightning.

Hey my friends! It's been a bit, honestly too long, but I've been feeling the urge to get out with the camera more. The last 12-18 months had been a bit rough with my mom's cancer and eventual passing in October, along with a crazy work schedule. Its nice to feel the awakening of my creative side again and I look forward to bringing you some new images soon. For now, please enjoy these from the past.
