Family sessions hold such magic. The connections and love make my heart so happy!
Yesterday I decided to tentatively close my books for the rest of the year after August. Tentatively because pending some info I’ll be waiting for in September, I may be opening more dates at that time. I have a few more possible dates next month. I’ve received a record number of inquiries over the past month. Which is exciting for my business, and likely has a lot to do with the ever increasing visitors we get in southwest Colorado. Maybe a little to do with the SEO efforts I put into my website in the last few years. SEO works!!
Regardless of reason, I’m so grateful for the interest in working with me. And I wish I had time to take on more.
As I received some medical news two days ago, I need to resist my typical habits, and take more time for rest.
Owning a business has illuminated my ethics and ideals surrounding productivity. It’s such an identity for me to work hard, work a lot and always be growing. I’m inspired by this work, so as long as I’m not pushing myself to a point of burnout it can be very enjoyable. Even so, I have to remind myself that growth and improvement also stem from rest and reflection, from dreaming and expanding.
